Best

I'm not quite sure why this theatre seems to be so empty compared to the other theatres around it but I thought the Paseo was comfortable and CLEAN. Pros: clean, comfortable, ...

Worst

The theatre is beautiful because it's new, but it's also pricey, and doesn't offer student discounts. What a rip off. Head into Old Town to the two theatres there and save yours...

Worse Theatre Ever 8/7/2008

Worse theater experience ever! The cashier and manager should be fired!! The cashier couldn't get anything right. As the ticket request was made, the cashier repeated every aspect of the request incorrectly. Not just once, but several times. Then the cashier provoked the customer into a confrontation. When the customer went to complain to the manager, the cashier literally ran past the customer to get to the manager first. Having said their piece, the manager didn't listen to anything the customer had to say. What kind of customer service is this? The cashier provokes the customer and the manager promotes it. BOOOOOO! If you want to go to a Pacific theatre try the Americana in Glendale. Better service, amenities and comfortable seating. Pros: Comfortable seating Cons: Management and Staff less than desireable - HORRIBLE!!!! more

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY AWAY FROM THIS THEATER!!!! 7/19/2008

If there was an option that I can give zero star I would. Do yourself a favor stay away from this theater. Poor services and the theater shuts their AC off after 1:30 am were 300+ people were still watching inside the theater. We came out almost soaked.! more

Horrible Customer Service 4/7/2007

THis is by far the worst theater I have ever been to in my life. THe management hires kids who do not understand anything about interpersonal skills and they are rude. They make you open your bag so they can check for left overs. What professional company does that? They are money hungry and I will never spend a penny there. I will be sure to tell all my friends about their service and how they want us to buy there $10 waters and popcorn but they will not allow left overs from anywhere else. Pros: Bad Service Cons: Horrible Management more

Nice, but expensive 6/29/2006

This theater is typical if you want to see the latest big Hollywood movie. It has nice stadium seating (with the mobile armrests), is very clean, has all the typical concessions. It also has several credit card ticket machines so you don't have to wait in line. more

Typical - nothing outstanding 1/26/2004

This theater is very typical of other large theater complexes. It's crowded and crowded and crowded. The theaters have stadium seating which I generally love. However, the first couple of rows in the main seating area (above the main walkway) are a bad seating choice. Since there is only one exit/entrance to each theater, all walking traffic must pass in front of these two rows. It's disturbing and distracting. Also, because there aren't several concession stands scattered around the complex, they've made the drinks self-serve. Needless to say it's a total mess unless you get their for the very first show. Pros: close to home, good film selection Cons: terrible parking more

A new disappointment 1/11/2003

Not as bad as some of the shoebox AMC complexes but still horribly underwelming. Small boxy theaters with common width screens and average sound systems, but hey, they have stadium seating. Add the atmosphere of a busy airport and you have a real mess. Not worth the effort of trying to find a parking space. Cons: Small boxy theaters, Inadequate parking, Crowds more

Good Theatre 11/16/2002

I'm not quite sure why this theatre seems to be so empty compared to the other theatres around it but I thought the Paseo was comfortable and CLEAN. Pros: clean, comfortable, parking more

WOW 11/4/2002

A very nice theater with a a great selection of movies. Its big and clean and very new. It seems to be one of the ""hip"" theaters around. saw young couples and a lot of people on dates. The seats were a little weird. THey gave the effect that at any moment they would eject you out of your seat and send you flying through the air... ANyway great place for a movie and a date. ANd Islands is right around the corner for some great grub grub Pros: huge, clean, new Cons: seats more

Living in Luxury 11/4/2002

This theater has a nice selection. The stadium seating is great and all but I do have one valid complaint. The chairs! Thats right the chairs! There very uncomfortable. I couldnt get my head properly adjusted. Other than that the seats are great. Great view, nice leg room, screen looks new. They give you parking validation. You'll still wind up paying though. Great part about the Pacific Paseo theater is that Islands is right outside and you can get yourself a saliva-inducing bite to eat while you wait! more

Great Seats - Great Audience 10/3/2002

Some important things when going to see a movie - the seats had better be good, the audience has to be respectful, the sound needs to be amazing. Pacific Paseo has new, comfortable, stadium seating and through every movie I have seen there, the audience has been quiet and behaved. The sound is exquisite. If I am going to go see a mainstream movie in Pasadena, this is where I go: always. Pros: Clean, Comfy, Thrilling Cons: No sign from street more

I'd rather go to Universal Citywalk. 7/25/2002

This movie theater must have been the worse one I've ever been to. Yes, the theater is new, & clean, but it is so disorganized. I went there twice. They printed the tickets with the theater number, but when we got there the title of the movie was different. I went back, asked the clerk. He just looked at the ticket and repeated the number. I let them know that there was a different movie playing in there, so they take off for 5 min come back and give me a different #. We go and wait, and wait...the movie was to start @ 9:30pm, the movie before didn't let out until 10:15pm, then to clean the theater was another 15 min. By this time, children are cranky and so was I. I'd rather pay $2 more and go to Citywalk. Pros: Clean & New, Comfy Seats Cons: Disorganized more

Beautiful but pricey 6/27/2002

The theatre is beautiful because it's new, but it's also pricey, and doesn't offer student discounts. What a rip off. Head into Old Town to the two theatres there and save yourself some trouble. more

7 6/27/2002

I have been many times and though I like the stadium seating there are too few seats. I have never gotten over the high price, maybe I'm just living in the past. more

Stadium Seating in Pasadena! 6/12/2002

Awesome seating, great sound system, brand spanking new theatre right in the middle of the Paseo! Not too many people know about this place and it hasn't been crowded except for when Episode 2 opened up there. This is the best place to see a movie in Pasadena! Pros: stadium seating, nice and new Cons: parking more

Good seats, empty theaters 5/20/2002

It's like a well-kept secret. Hordes of people haven't inundated this theater, so there's always extra room for stretching. The stadium seats do rock. Parking can be a pain because if you park in the garage, you pay; try and find a spot on the street instead. Good theater for first-run movies. Pros: stadium seats Cons: parking more

Stadium seating rocks 5/19/2002

Stadium seating guarantees a great view. I also like the deep cushioned, large seats and movable arm wrests. The only draw back? Finding the entrance. You've gotta hike up two flights of stairs or wait for the crowded elevator to get to the box office. Pros: stadium seating Cons: 2nd floor location more

Very Nice 5/19/2002

This is a great place to see a film. The stadium seating pervents the heads of others from blocking your view and the seats are nice and plush. And most importantly the screens are large- no TV size screens here. more
