It's hard to beat a store that only sells 'made in the Pacific Northwest' products. My wife and I like the great wine selection. The kids buy candy and "admit it Tacoma you're beautiful" stickers. There's serious merchandise like Mt. St. Helens Ash glass ornaments. Beautiful! We just bought a half dozen and they box and gift wrap everything. A really nice store. more

Pacific Northwest Shop - Local items by local artisans 3/4/2006

The Pacific Northwest Shop is a rather unique gift shop, devoted exclusively to items made by PNW artisans, craftsmen, and small businesses. Besides the usual slug joke items, you'll find Mt St Helens glass, clothing, delicious preserves, t-shirts, and many other items. The shop is a little narrow in front, but widens out at the back. Five foot tall, nature-crafted water fountains are a special item I have not seen elsewhere, and there are also books, postcards, calendars, and many other items featuring history, photos and artwork of the area. Magnets, keychains, and other items round out the collection. Definitely a good place to find a unique gift for out of state relatives who want a 'feel' for where you live! more

Offbeat gifts from the Northwest 8/23/2005

This is one of my favorite places to buy gifts for friends and family. They carry yummy Northwest treats, beautiful jewelry and ceramics, T-shirts, books and much more. Clerks are always happy to help and I love that they will wrap and ship my purchase for me. more

Pacific Northwest Shop 7/9/2005

I love this shop! It has all kinds of souveniers and stuff that you cant get anywhere else, such as canned slugs and slug stew. Their store layout is really convienient, and from all the times that i have been in the store, they are never super super busy. The store owners are very nice and helpful. They have a nice selection of specialty candy, t-shirts, cards, souveniers etc. A great place to get something special! more
