We stopped by for lunch upon arrival in Tillamook for the week end. Being in a vacation mode for that week end I wanted to try something new in town. I am verry happy to have found this place! So happy in fact that we ate the rest of our meals out only at the Pacific House after checking menues and prices in the surrounding area as we toured.\r

As to service, it started with a cheerfull hostess (though I haven't seen any that were not). The ambiance connoted cleanliness, simplicity and friendliness with a blend of cultures at peace.\r

The service continued with a very knolegeble waitress that was highly capable of describing the options from the menue. I noticed that the prices were totally fair yet to be verified of course, as to portion size, presentation and overall quality as base criteria. All of the above were verified by the end of the lunch.\r

The service continued with a visit from the chef at our table. I had noticed the chef making rounds elsewhere. I was astounded at the fact that our chef and her su chef were ex employees of the Heathman Hotel in Portland. I couldn't believe that I had been given a great culinary experience at such an affordable price! \r

The food was delicoius and carefully prepared. Did I already mention delicious? Only well trained and experienced chefs are capable of obtaining this level of preparation and presentation. Such a gift to the area! Such a great way to round out the service provided by management.\r

The spirit of adventure in the way of variety and local's suggestions prompted me to scout out other area restaurants. I was not impressed after reading some menues and putting up with obnoxious kitchen odors while doing so. Needless to say I happily ended up at the Pacific for the next meals and was equally impressed every time.\r
