What you'd expect from an Irish pub. Food is good, but very overpriced.

To full for dessert 3/16/2005

This is by far one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. The poppers are awesome; they are very sweet and cheesy. A group of four can easily share the french onion soup in the bread bowl (yummy). The burgers are made with great tasting meat and cooked to perfection of your liking. Ive tried other dishes from people, must say that I havent had anything that wasnt fantastic. Of course plenty of beer on tap and bottles! The service is always top notch, sometimes to much. If you are not in a rush, let the server know so they dont rush you, especially during pre event. Great service, awesome food, with prices that doesnt break the bank. You wont be disappointed at all. Pros: Tastey Food, Beer Beer Beer, Excellent Service Cons: Sometimes rushed more

Sizzling Steaks and Good Pub Food 8/16/2003

A great neighborhood bar, oriented to beer rather than the wine crowd (the wine selection is non-existant). Excellent service at all times - these bartenders are what New York bartenders are all about and the waitresses are uniformly efficient and attentive. The staff is humorous and amusing at all times - no shoulder chips or indifference here. Basic but good food; the sizzling steaks are excellent, as are some of the other mainstays. Diverse clientele; a welcome respite. A bit of music on Sunday nights. Pros: Neighborhood, Basic fare, Service Cons: Wayward students more

Great dinner! 8/8/2003

Excellent place for relaxing dinner. Every entree on the menu is excellent, from the tomato and mozarella appetizers to the classic Bangers and Mash. Quick service and relaxing atmosphere. Low staff turnover means the quality and service are consistent. My fiance and I have been eating there once a week for the last year, and we love it! Since the smoking ban, it's not nearly as crowded - you can always get a seat, even on Friday night. Pros: Great food, Inexpensive more

This is a great place if you just want to chill and have some good food. The bartenders are great, Annette will definately make you laugh while talking smack to you. Definately worth checking out. more
