Best

The P.F. Chang's is a great place for authentic Chinese food. Their menu is always wonderful and full of lip-smacking delicacies.

Worst

I agree with the other reviewer who noted that P.F. Chang's is directed mostly towards the Western palate. It may be well prepared but is certainly not what an Asian person would ...

Great food, not Chinese 11/3/2002

Not that the food isn't good, but it isn't what it promises to be. Come on, even the name of the place is obvious. A chinese bistro? Give me a break. It's just trendy. Pros: food tastes good, fast service, nice environment Cons: a bit pricey, crowded, not real chinese food more

Check your map 11/1/2002

This not Chinese food. It is American food with Asian influence. If you are looking for Chinese food head down Bellaire Blvd. more

Poor Food Chang's 10/30/2002

Expensive and over-rated quasi-Chinese food. My suggestion is to go down Bellaire on the SW side for some REAL Chinese food!!!!!! Cons: NOT AUTHENTIC, EXPENSIVE, OVER-RATED more

ugh 10/29/2002

the best thing about PF Changs are the chopsticks I learned to use more

Leave please 10/28/2002

The use of sugar and soy sauce to cover the flavor of normally tasty dishes disappoints the most common of tongues. Diabetics ask for sugar contents prior to dining. more

All That! 10/18/2002

Best Chinese food I have ever had. The atmosphere is so classy over there. Makes you feel like you were in a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. more

Great atmosphere! Good food. 10/14/2002

The open atmosphere is very pleasing. Food was good, but not incredible. more

Finally - Chinese done right! 10/7/2002

Finally there is a restaurant when you ask the server ""What's good?"", and their reply is ""Everything"", and it's TRUE! Everything is not just good - it's GREAT! A word of warning though, if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place to go. Expect to wait for a table because PF Chang's does not accept reservations. Make the most of your wait and head on over to the bar and order a drink along with an appetizer of ribs or chicken wraps. Sit back, relax & enjoy, because your adventure has only just begun! Pros: Excellent food, Great service Cons: Parking, Crowded, No reservations more

Chinese Poser 10/1/2002

This restaurant is a nice place to eat and has good food, but it IS NOT authentic Chinese, which is fine for those who do not enjoy or appreciate real Chinese cuisine. This restaurant is more geared for people who want tell people they like Chinese food, but are really eating an Americanized version of classic dishes. Pros: good ingredients Cons: crowded more

look don't eat 9/24/2002

Pleasing design and atmosphere make up for the bland food. I can only recommend the Mongolian Beef. more

excellent 9/24/2002

This restaurant offers excellent food for a fair price. Sometimes it is worth an afternoon drive to eat their wonderful Chang's spicey chicken. Pros: excellent food, fair price Cons: crowded, too far from home more

Why not eat real food? 9/21/2002

Come on, we're in Houston, that has some wonderful authentic places, instead of Americanized dreck. more

Outstanding 8/30/2002

After visiting PF Chang's China Bistro I have developed an equisite taste for their entrees. more

new Out West Location Shines 8/29/2002

The new Westheimer east of Kirkwood location shines. Have visited twice. Excellent service, wonderful food - chinese with a twist! more

Good Asian American 8/28/2002

Although PF Changs is not the real authentic Chinese food one would hope for, it is still delicious. The price is average about $10-15 a plate, but keep in mind it is family style. The ambiance is very nice, but the servive is horroible. more

Honey Crispy Shrimp...UBELIEVABLE 8/21/2002

This entree has to be my all-time favorite dish ANYWHERE! The service is great and the food is wonderful. Get there early on weekend nights though, or you'll be waiting for up to two hours. Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Captain's Table Cons: Busy, Parking, Noise more

Surprisingly Good 8/10/2002

You would think that a popular place like this wouldn't meet their standards but this restaurant did! The prices were reasonnable and the food was good. I loved it! And since it was my first time, the waitress was VERY helpful and patient with me. more

Hot dog 8/9/2002

The best Chinese cuisine that I know of in Houston. The two locations that I am aware of are a little small, and waiting is always a problem if you get there later than 5:00 PM. But the food is great and unusual. If you do not like hot food, you can request it be toned down and they do a good job of this. Great Chinese! Cons: Not large enough more

No China fina. 8/8/2002

Unfortunately, nothing comes close to this for Chinese in the city of Houston. more

go with a group 8/6/2002

I enjoy PF Chang's food so I recommend going with a big group in order to taste more of their delicious entrees. I do hate waiting but it is worth it. I also like it for lunch because not as long of a wait. thanks. more
