It's funny, I had been personally referred to PJ and then came on and read these reviews recently when someone said they read them. I got some other estimates as well. All of the estimates were cheaper and as it was my brother was also looking for the same thing I was, new roofing on the side of his house. We went with PJ Fitzpatrick and spent a bit over $8,000 for the large section of roof. My brother went with one of the cheaper quotes, spending $4,800 for a portion roughly the same size as ours. PJ took their time and also talked to me about some other options we could do, however we didn't do them. They were professional and worked fast when replacing the roof. Three years later my brother's roof has major leaking because the shingling was not done properly. I don't understand the specifics of it, but they didn't do something right. He then went to another company with a cheaper price to "fix it" and they did, for about 2 weeks until the next big storm we had in the area. He finally called PJ Fitzpatrick and they must have done it right because they pointed out many things wrong with the prior installation and took care of them. We haven't had a problem with ours in five years and my brother has now spent over $15,000 on his roof that I know of because he went cheap. Also, as long as we have the roof it has a lifetime labor and craftsmanship guarantee. That labor guarantee is great. It's the last roof we'll have to buy, ever, period. We've had a lot of work done to the house by them and we've only had one problem. I called at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon and it was fixed for free by Thursday afternoon. They also adjusted and caulked our gutters for free. Don't be cheap, go with the best you can get. You get what you pay for.
