Overseas Service Haus - Preston

I recently took my car to Overseas for an oil change and full inspection and the guy that helped me did a great job. I waited in the shop a little longer than I wanted to, but I would do it again if I had to because the service was great! more

I have been here twice since this company has changed hands. This time and last time the employees were very fast and nice and knew their stuff. I have recommended them and will continue to do so. more

I went to overseas hoping to save a little money versus the dealer. I asked for an estimate on replacing worn out drive belts and performing an oil change and state inspection. They told me they had to look at the vehicle to diagnose the required services. As this was a little late in the afternoon I told the service rep I would bring the car back at 7:30 the next morning. When I arrived I was told no one capable of performing the diagnostic would arrive for another 90 minutes and that the cost of this would be waived IF I had the repairs done there. I waited in the waiting are, which is very nice, except for all the full trash cans and periodicals strewn everywhere. I was brought an initial estimate of just under $1100 to perform the work I requested and also replace the air filter, oil pan gasket, replace the front sway bar links and perform a 4 wheel alignment. The estimate also included parts and labor charges for 2 drive belts, whereas the dealer had informed me the vehicle used a single serpentine belt. After I informed the service rep of this and declined all the extra repairs, the estimate to do the work originally requested was relatively reasonable, but I had to track the service rep down and ask again before I was given this second quote. The work was then completed in under an hour, but I was asked to sign the repair authorization AFTER the work was completed. I get the impression these guys focus on serving their repeat customers and pretty much ignore new customers who come in with an older or less expensive vehicle. more

I had such a wonderful experience working with the people at Overseas. All of the employees were very courteous and knowledgeable; they answered every question I had and returned every phone call. I will definitely go back to service my other 2 vehicles. more

Overseas fixed my cars AC when it was broken and Chris did a good job. They charged a fair hourly rate, and got me back on the road with air conditioning in a good amount of time. If you live in the area and are in need of repairs on your car then I recommend calling or stopping by Overseas, it will be worth your time. more

Finally a car repair service you can trust. After a bad experience with another foreign car repair company, I thought I give Overseas a try. Eventhough I had a complicated problem with my porsche, they tried their best to find solution to the problems. They do research and do the right repair. They are very reasonable in their charges and will keep you uptodate on what they are doing. I strongly recommend Overseas Car Care on Preston and thank you Nick for a pleasant experience. more

I love this place. You will be hard pressed to find a more honest and trustworthy car repair shop. The prices are fair and they always take extra good care of me. They always leave my car clean and they even told me before that I did not need a unnecessary service. How many places do that?? brought 2003 Beetle here because the red temperature light was coming on and car overheating. They checked it out and they said all it needed was coolant. Had them to add the coolant. A week late the car wouldn't start so I took it back up there and it needed some hoses, valves, and a coolant sensor replaced. When they didn't see this work the first time beats me. Before getting the work done my air conditioner and heater was working fine in my car. After the complete the work on the valves, etc. cost over $800 air nor heater worked anymore. I take it back, explains what happens they say they will take a look at it. All they did was go out to the car and it appears the heater is on they say. So stupid, because the heater doesn't work. He told me when I dropped it off that they would put it on the machine pull the codes and let me know. Didn't do any of this? My air and heater worked before they laid a finger on my car. more

I have always been skeptical about car repair facilities. But I was very impressed with the level of knowledge and respect the service writers had. I have a 2004 Bmw 530 and I was qutoed a ridiculously high estimate from the dealer for front strut repairs. These guys saved me a lot of money, which I am grateful for. They even offered me discounts on other services. I dont know why anyone would go to the dealer. They are fast paced, respectful, and I know they are not taking me for a ride.I was referred by a couple of my friends who highly recommended them and I am glad I trusted their judgement. Great Shop, hands down! more
