Editorial review from Citysearch 8/31/2012

When first choosing to use the Overland Park Jeep Dealership, I was perfectly satisfied at the fact that my AAA insurance carrier was cooperative and very supportive with sending my car there for the repairs from my car accident. After having a ridiculous amount of delays and attempting to contact numerous people, it was almost a month of my car being at the dealer before being even started on. As patient as I've tried to be, Overland Park Jeep claimed that they weren't at fault for anything whatsoever, especially the delays within this process. After carefully examining the emails, phone calls and even having someone check in on my vehicle just to be sure that the repairs were actually happening there was fault on them for how long the process was taking. I stand behind the fact that I know the repairs weren't exactly easy but if I knew that I was going to be dealing with people who seemed to be talking down to me, I would have taken it to the Gladstone Jeep dealer that I bought it from. I have no doubt that there wouldn't have been this many issues because of the efficient work they had already done for me in the past. \r \r After picking up my ""repaired"" Jeep 2 days ago, I was thoroughly surprised when my Jeep would not start last night when leaving my softball games. Luckily, I had a friend who walked out with me that took a look under the hood for me. Come to find out, Jeep didn't put my battery back properly. On my way home, thankfully a friend was following me because my car completely shut off at the top of a hill on Johnson Drive and Renner leaving me sitting there without the use of even my hazards. Which in and of itself is a HUGE problem. After being able to find a socket wrench to tighten the battery as much as we could at midnight... I was able to get home with my check engine light on the entire time. After letting it sit overnight and praying that it would start this morning, I was able to get the car running and make it to work with the check engine light still on. \r \r My largest frustration comes from the fact that I feel as though I was dealing with a used car dealer with the way that I was being talked to the entire time with not knowing when things would be done to the blame being put on other parties and him in a sense, telling me what I wanted to hear. But throughout this entire process and me getting ready to have my rental car allowance policy used up, they did absolutely nothing to reassure me that they would help with any of my inconvenience. It was always someone else's fault.\r \r I have another appointment this afternoon to get the problematic things looked at on the car because they need to fix what they didn't entirely finish the first time... but in the future, I will not be returning to this dealer even though it's the most convenient one for me to go to. I will be taking my business elsewhere. more

Great Service at a Great price 4/1/2011

Just wanted to let you know Todd in service is the best. I have been taking my Jeep to him for 10 years and always gives me great service. I will always go back to him for all of my Jeep service needs. Thanks more

Rip off 5/4/2010

These guys will take every opportunity they have to do work on your car even if not needed. Keep your records and see if they ever consecutively tell you that something needs fixed. It's something new every time. Some of the work I went ahead and let them do because my warranty covered it. Then they did a crappy job and I had to take it back in for them to correct their work. The last time I had my car in they gave me such a run around that I wrote a letter to the service manager expressing my frustration and lack of quality service but never heard back. They don't care and they don't do quality work. Period. Pros: ? Cons: Everything more

Collision Service and Customer Service 4/11/2010

We used OP Jeep Collision Center to repair damage to my Jeep Wrangler following an auto accident. They took three times longer than promised, did not perform the work as promised and the Service Manager berated us and refused to make things right when we called them on their poor service & work. This is one Stealership to avoid. Pros: I'm not sure there was one. Cons: Took too long, didn't do what they promised and berated us more

Do not buy from this dealership 8/5/2009

I went to purchase a jeep at this dealership. After finding the vehicle I was interested in I started the negotiation of price. The dealer brought out the manager who did not give me a proper handshake (because I am female) and then proceeded to say ""would it make you feel like you won, if I dropped the price another $200"". I was appalled by his rude behavior and I took my business elsewhere. I found a jeep wrangler of the same year with less miles for a lower price. I am happy with my purchase and glad that I did not stay at this dealership after the poor treatment I received. Pros: variety of vehicles Cons: customer service is terrible and the manager is sexist more
