Best

Although the wait to be seated at the Outback can be rediculously long, I think it's well worth it. I love the spices they use in their food and they have the best Steaks, Martini...

The wait can be very long, as there are no reservations and for what? The food is average at best, high in fat and very spicy. Why the popularity? Pros: large portions, frie...

How to ruin simple food 8/23/2009

To start with I had to send the caesar salad back because of the pepper content - why put such an excessive amount of seasoning on a simple salad when people can add their own to taste?? Then the steak ... a perfectly good cut of meat, and cooked rare as ordered ... but under a thick excessive "seasoning" that just overpowered the flavor of the meat. In short ... good, simple food ruined. Outback is to be avoided if you have taste buds. Pros: None Cons: Over-seasoned food more

unedible salt laiden food 8/12/2009

I ordered the Sirloin Steak, steamed veggies and rice. sounds simple? Not at all! The steak was seared with some kind of pressed George Forman grill press process burnt and dried to the point of being tougher then shoe leather. The salt content in the meat and rice and veggie sides made my B pressusre raise til my face turned bright red. Back to the kitchen it went. I guess you would need a iron cast stomache to be able to digest this garbage. A single dinner roll was brought to the table on a cutting board. I just looked at it and said to the waitress... and we are supposed to split one dinner roll this 4 ways? UGhhhh never again. Pros: salty food if you like that Cons: salt msg and food additives galore more

inconsistent cuts 7/25/2003

After eating at Outback a few times, I thought I had a jewel of a restaurant to eat at. I had the 10oz tenderloin the first cople of times which was amazingly tender. 3rd visit I ordered the salmon(yummy). The last time however, I ordered the 10oz and got a rough @ tough cut of meat you would find at the Hilltop. I was very dissapointed. The garlic mashed were and the cheesy fries were good. The portions were generous. I'd like to give this place great marks, but I can't. Pros: generous portions, great staff, creamy onion soup Cons: inconsistent quality, opens late weekdays more
