Otc financial aid warning for all students!!! 9/12/2013

Do not us the Higher One student id to have your financial aid money deposited!! If you do, then make sure you call and have them do an ID verification as soon as you setup your account! If you don't they will request this info the day your funds are deposited, hold them at least an extra 24-48 hours, and draw interest off of your funds during this time! Unfortunately the financial aid dept nor the bank makes this information available to students until it's too late snd you are sitting and waiting on money that is yours!! more

OTC 3/28/2006

I attended another college full time when I was working toward my degree, but I could not fit in a class one semester. It was a requirement, so I had to look elsewhere. I found OTC and was able to take the class I need at a very reasonable per credit hour price. The class was great, the professor knowledgeable and I got an A. It was a really good experience for me. It would also be a great place for someone wanting to start college in a less pressured environment. more

Impressed with their non-credit classes 9/14/2005

OTC is a community college that offers a broad range of courses toward associates and bachelor's degrees. However, in the last few years, they have begun to offer a large selection of non-credit classes, everything from foreign languages to cooking to business to mechanics and computers. I have been so impressed with their non-credit classes at low rates (most of them around $60-$70) that I will continue to take them to improve myself and my employability. more

Education 6/23/2005

The OTC campus has been in Springfield for a number of years. They have consistently improved their campus as well as the number of classes that are offered. I have not attended there personally, but one of my children has as well as others I know. They come highly recommended and get a good education in the classes offered. I would highly recommend OTC as a good investment for your dollar. more
