Fun to visit 5/24/2006

I have been to this stadium a few times. It is nice and it has a lot to do before or after the game. One time we went they had some group outside the field dancing and singing and playing drums. They are very good. The shops and food places are all really nice. The seats there are very good as well. I dont think I ever had a bad seat. Another thing I liked is once you go "inside" the stadium they make it look like your outside again. Its very nice. more

My Favorite Baseball Park 2/9/2006

It's hard to not enjoy yourself during a trip to Camden Yards. I'm not even a baseball fan, but I fell in love with this baseball park. The large warehouse really sets off the design, and the huge Coca Cola sign gives the park a vintage feel. Ticket prices aren't too bad; often students can get really discounted tickets for nosebleed seats. CY often sets off fireworks at the night games as well-- a perfect ending to a great night at the ballpark! more

Root, root, root for the home team! 2/1/2006

Ok so the Orioles don't always have a winning season...but all the more reason to go out and cheer them to victory! Camden Yards is forever running ticket promotions--my particular favorite is the 5$ student admission every Friday night. Granted, you end up in the upper reserve, but it's a great way to spend a night for very little money. Plus, if you pay only 5$ for admission--you might actually be able to afford a hot dog! more

Wonderful ballpark 10/1/2005

This is, by far, the nicest ballpark I have ever been to. It's relatively new, very clean, and really beautiful. It features an area of Eutaw St. that is closed off to traffic and has shops and restaurants. It's a large stadium and since the O's don't have a huge following getting a ticket is never an issue. They have lots of promotions that allow you to attend for cheap, including 5 dollar student tickets on Friday nights and 4 for 44 dollar promotions where you get 4 tickets, 4 hats and 4 programs for 44 dollars. Though the O's aren't the best team (go Red Sox!) it's a great place to spend an evening or a weekend afternoon! more

my summer home away from home 8/27/2005

Oriole Park at Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles, is my favorite place to go in the summer. Ticket prices are very reasonable, though food and drinks are expensive. But, you're permitted to bring in outside food, so bring snacks from home or buy peanuts and soda from a vendor outside! Friday night home games are student night--$5 LF upper reserve tickets with a student ID. You can't even go to the movies for $5 anymore, it's a great cheap date or family outing. Parking isn't too bad--a few blocks up the road you can find a $7 garage. Don't forget to wear your orange and black. Go O's! more

Beautiful ballpark 8/20/2005

Camden Yards is simply the nicest ballpark in all of Major League Baseball to watch a ball game. It's so cozy and intimate, which is the complete opposite of the old, concrete giant ballparks of years past. It's conveniently located with good food, great sight lines, and a beautiful setting. The Orioles haven't been good of late, but it's still a nice way to spend an evening. more

Oriole Park at Camden Yards 8/20/2005

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the home of the Baltimore Orioles. Baseball is America's past time and Camden Yards makes helps make going to a baseball game a great experience. The stadium is so great the other cities are copying the Camden Yard style. Along with great baseball, you can expect to find a great atmosphere and great food. The food is on the expensive side, but that's no different than any other ball park. Going to a baseball game is an excellent way to spend the day with a family. more

Fun to watch...even when they aren't doing so well 8/16/2005

Even for people who don't like baseball or those who merely tolerate it, a game at Camden Yards is a must-do in Baltimore. A trip to Camden Yards is about more than just the game, it is an experience. Of course, the experience is better if the Os are winning, but it is fun to watch nevertheless. The only problem is the same as with any ballpark...the food is ridiculously overpriced. It's better to grab some chow outside of Camden Yards from one of the many vendors. Eat it first though...you can't bring anything into the park. more

Good team to watch 8/15/2005

Camdem Yards is one of the best parks to visit in the country in terms of baseball. It rivals some of the most modern stadiums all over. There are tons of places to eat and drink at before the game downtown which makes the experience more enjoyable. Try and get tickets to a more popular game against the Red Sox or Yankees as many of the other games can be very boring if the crowd isn't into it at all. more
