One thing that sets the Orem library apart from others in the area is its media selection, particularly the videos and DVDs. Their selection is by far the largest I've seen at any public library in the area. They even carry new releases. However, the catch is that movies aren't free. They are $1 per week, but this allows the library to offer the selection it does. Their cds and books on tape/cd are also great as far as selection goes. They also just added a lot of new board books, which my daughter loves. The library also houses the Parent Education Resource Center where you can check out free educational toys, games, and videos for your kids. Finally, the library is one of the great supporters of Orem's annual Timpanogos Story Telling Festival. Needless to say, we visit often.
