I've trained at the school of Oom Yung Doe for a little over 3 years and have seen many improvements in my personal condition in that time. This is not your typical karate school...

The Scene Imagine the shape of most restaurants: low-ceilinged, wide. Now turn that room on its side, and you have the shape of Pi's dining room. High-ceilinged, long and thin. The room is cleverly laid out, featuring a large plaster nose and ear adorning the otherwise modernist interior design. A long counter runs most of the length of the room on one side, with glass display cases showing off the prepared dishes. The Food The pizza is made with a sweet and flaky thin crust and are not inexpensive, making a good lunch for two or an appetizer for four. And how often is cilantro or toasted pine nuts offered as a pizza topping? Specialty pies include some creative choices, such as salmon with smoked mozzarella, radicchio, scallions and portobello mushrooms, or Thai spring vegetable, with broccoli, cauliflower, vidalia onions and mushrooms over lemongrass marinated cheeses. In Addition Another lunch option is the panini, either grilled or cold. The sandwiches are a bit small by Pittsburgh standards, but they come with Italian potato salad, which is delicious and filling.
