I discovered this little niche restaurant in Woodinville a couple of months ago. Don't know how I missed it! If you love fresh salsa give this a try. Their salsa bar is great. For something different, try the fish taco. It didn't appeal to me at all until I tasted a sample of my friend's entree. Light and VERY tasty. A great place for lunch or dinner. There is also one in Redmond near city hall and Ben Franklin craft store. more

Great Salsa Bar 3/31/2006

Ooba's is a good little Mexican place in Woodinville. It seems to be healthier than your typical Mexican places, as it has a lot of seafood offerings as well. There is a nice salsa bar with a range of items to try. It's not overly expensive or anything like that. Just a good middle of the road place to try for quick food that's healthy for you too. more

Interesting Little Hideaway 3/18/2006

Another small place tucked away in an Albertson's shopping center is Ooba's Mexican Grill. They had a lot of kind of fast foodish Mexican seafood stuff, but I was impressed that they offered fish tacos, etc, with a couple of different choices in fish. I ended up with the beer battered cod fish tacos and they were pretty yummy. You could definitely taste the beer batter. Also, there is a nice salsa bar inside. Good place for a quick lunch or dinner. more

Healthy Mexican food in Woodinville 8/16/2005

Ooba's Mexican Grill is one my favorite "fast food" restaurants in Woodinville. They serve Mexican favorites including burritos, tostadas, tacos, grilled vegetables and a number of specials. All of the ingredients are very fresh, and the meals are tasty & healthy. I always order some chips to eat while waiting for my food order. They have a self-serve salsa bar with different salsas ranging from mild to very hot, and they're all really good. The atmosphere is cheerful and comfortable. Plus, there are a number of outdoor tables for warm summer days. The line is often long during weekday lunch hours, but it quiets down in the evenings. more
