Always busy... 9/20/2005

One Fish Two Fish has been in the neighborhood forever. The crowds are always there and the food is okay. The best part about the dining experience is that as soon as you sit down, they bring you salad and garlic bread before you even order. I like that! Then the fish is okay. I have no real complaints, but it is reliably a fine place to eat. more

Overrated, nothing to write home about 9/19/2005

I was totally umimpressed with the food. The only saving grace is after a late play in the city, you can go and get a full meal. That's about it. The tables even annoyed me - too small. Just not the place for me I guess, and not for most people who expect a pleasurable, hot meal in a comfortable setting. more

Mediocre 6/29/2005

One fish is always packed on the weekends, but I don't know why. The food is mediocre at best. The positive is that the kitchen is open till 3. I know a bunch of people that got sick there however. I would find another option unless pressed more

The wait staff will ignore you 6/4/2005

If begging for water again and again doesn't bother you, this is a great place for you. The prices seem reasonable, but you don't get much for it. We ordered rainbow trout with tossed salad. The salad was almost inedible, filled with wilted iceberg, but it took three requests to get the waitress to bring our water. When she finally did, I asked her to bring a carafe, so we would not have to continue to hunt her down. After about five minutes, I went to look for her, and she was hanging out at the bar drinking a soda with another waitress. When I asked her again, she said it would be right out. About seven minutes later, I had had enough. My husband and I got up and left. When she noticed, she couldn't believe we would actually leave! I guess I will never find out how the rainbow trout tastes. more
