Mecca for foodies, whiners get the _uck outta here!!! 10/27/2009

This little place is known to be funky, darn good and in Harvard Square for like... over ten years. It is not the kind of place for wanna be intellectuals or idiots who think they know something bout crepes. Rather a bad little spot for locals who know they can get a price fixe meal that is as good as it gets. Try their lamb or mergeuz crepes and die happy.\r Yes its true...sometimes they cook the crepes a bit to long. That sucks so be sure and ask them to serve it NON CRISPY. \r Bottom line: There is no finer creperie in the northeast. period. Pros: Very AFFORDABLE old school crepe shop/cafe with a large sele Cons: Its a small place and is crowded on weekends, approachable w more

Terrible - will never return 4/18/2009

My wife and I went last night. We ordered three crepes - all sweet crepes. I am in no way a ""crepe"" expert, but I've had crepes from two dozen or so places throughout the world. I found these crepes to be terrible - tasteless garbage. They honestly tasted like tortillas - I got one with banana and nutella. They do not sautee the banana before putting it in the crepe. They use hardly any fat in the crepe mixture. As a result, it turns extremely crispy when it colls a little. It was honestly like eating a tortilla that had been placed under an oven broiler (what my mom refers to as elephant ears).\r \r If the crepe recipe wasn't bad enough, the curly haired guy making the crepes couldn't have been more of an a**hole.\r \r We will never consider returning. Cons: worst crepes i've ever had more

Decent overpriced food, terrible service leaves one with bad aftertaste. 12/7/2008

The place: simple little over priced hole in the wall restaurant. Very small and cash only.\r \r The food: decent crepes - but for $8-$10 per crepe, you can find better deals in Boston.\r \r The service: horrible service - we placed our coats on a chair and were quickly told that we cannot reserve a spot to sit before ordering. Okay - for a place that small, that's understandable. We then ordered, had the crepes and coffee - which weren't bad. The minute we finished the crepes, we were rudely asked by the wait staff to leave the place because we were done eating. They seemed to have overlooked the coffee we were still drinking. \r \r Overall: while the food is decent, it's overpriced and absolutely not worth the rude service you get while there. There are many good places in Boston - try this one as a last resort. Pros: Food choices are plenty Cons: Service is outright rude more

Good for weekend brunch 8/4/2008

Arrow Street Crepes satiates many cravings with thin and light yet large bundles of palatable joy. I usually prefer the savory selections with spinach, brie, mushrooms, turkey, ham...I always steal a bite or two of my companion's sweet delights, most often stuffed with strawberries, bananas, and white and dark chocolate drizzles. Whatever your tastes, you will find a favorite! more
