I went to one on Tuesday with 3 of my friends and we had a blast. We did what they call "Tuesday Tasting" which is a chef selection of the menu with a bottle of wine for $1.00. It was nice to let the chef to choose all the menu items instead of trying to put the menu together. What an awesome meal it was! My favorite item was the spicy tuna tartar that was just perfect. We had 4 course meals with delicious desserts. We will definitely be back! Pros: great food for the price more

We arrived at 9 on time for our reservation, the restaurant was completely empty. Karra, greeted us and explained that she only could seat us in the bar. After waiting fifteen minutes and no service, we see a couple come in who say they have "no reservation". Next, Karra walks over and offers them the dining room ! I agree with most of the other reviewers. This place can be a great bargain during the week. I'm not sure about the weekned, but I would go early on the weekend from what I hear. I went to ONE on Tuesday night with a bunch of friends for their food/ wine tasting night. i was really impressed. we have been there before on the weekends when it is more of a loungy/ club scene but this past tuesday was a different vibe. the food was fantastic and the $1 bottles of wine are a steal. great place to start your night...we will definitely be back. the music was good but it would be even better if they had a dj spinning tunes. more

I heard some great things about One Sunset's Party scene on Fridays and went to check it out. My friends and I decided to do some bottle service for the evening and we had a blast! We came a little earlier to put some food in our belly's before we got the night going. We ordered a handful of appetizers, all of which were really really good. The bottle service attendants we had there were extremely helpful and made our night even better. The drinks were flowing, people dancing everywhere, and the music was blasting...what's better than that? As far as pricing goes, they are fairly normal for the LA scene, cheaper than some places I have been to around here though. I definitely recommend going to this place for a great night out. The place is loaded with beautiful people and recommend it for any singles-night. Check this place out! more

I came here a few weeks ago for their "Tuesday Tastings" promotion that was going. I did not know about it until the person I spoke with mentioned it to me. Basically, it's $45/person and for $1 more you get a bottle of wine...love it! The menu itself has a lot to choose from, but it was nice to sit back and not have to worry about what you order. I like to eat everything so I love tasting menus wherever I eat! My good friend ate with me that day and we started off with some drinks that were delicious...made me want to keep going, but I did not want to get out of hand. The tasting menu was 5-courses of amazing food. What really stuck out in my experience was the buffalo chicken and tuna tar tar...both were extremely flavorful and I probably could have just eaten those for the rest of the night. I love the small-plate concept, food/drink, and atmosphere...all signs of a great restaurant. Pros: food, drinks, people, service Cons: no parking on sunset more

My girlfriend and I went to One Sunset last monday to celebrate our birthdays with a few friends. We had heard about this place about 6-7 months ago. We arrived for dinner and ordered the Spicy Tuna Tartare (delicious), mac n cheese,buffalo chicken, scallops and beef tenderloin. We then stayed for cocktails when it then turned into a lounge with an awesome DJ also there was guys with some kind of drum/bongo instruments which only intensified the beat of the music!!!! We danced and drank and had a great birthday!! We will definitely return! more

My girlfriends and I went to One Sunset Thursday night and had the most amazing time! We started out with a tasty dinner and moved on to yummy cocktails. I could not keep my mouth empty the food was sooo good. The mac and cheese was to die for and everything thing else was delicious! They had a really fun cocktail menu my friends and I enjoyed. We stayed throughout the night (the place turns into a lounge) and danced the night away. There were a ton of cute boys to look at. This place is amazing! I was with a group of friends and stumbled upon one sunset on a friday night. We were delighfully suprised by the delicous food and cocktails they had. I've been to this place twice. Believe me when I say it's not all that. I went on a Saturday Night it was packed. I asked the hostess several times if they took discover...she said yes. When I finally got to the bar I put down my discover card and the bartender said in a rude manner "We don't except Discover" and then laughed at me. I immediately left after that......second time I went on a Tuesday night and parked on the street. There was less then 10 people in there and then when I ordered dinner it was extremely small and I had to pay so much for it. I also ordered their signature drink that is suppose to come with a lollipop and they said that they were out???? You don't have to worry about me ever going back there. Pros: Only good thing was the decoration. Cons: Just about everything!!!! more

Had dinner here with a group of friends and loved it! Love the idea of small share plates.... my friends werent too hungry so they ordered a couple of scrumptous apps and I kept the food coming... couldnt get enough! Everything I had was amazing. Definitley try the mac and cheese, its soooo good! They also have a great cocktail menu.The service was great. Its nicely decorated and had a really cool bar as well. We stayed for the lounge after and danced the night away after an amazing dinner. Great food, great crowd, and dj.... what more could you ask for?? Pros: food, service, atmosphere Cons: hmmm? more

still a pretty hot spot... great service and quality drinks. on the sunset strip so you can take in the more mature hollywood scene (as opposed to many of the hollywood blvd hot spots) this can be a good or a bad thing. chill vibe more

My fiance and I have been to so many restaurants and were looking for a nice lounge with wonderful food. Boy did we find it here. We got the sample special ($45) but it was well worth it. We're very picky and we told our waiter exactly what we do and don't eat and he promised to "hook us up". Which he very well did. Everything we ate was wonderful. We modified our meals to not include red meats so I can only comment on the fish, chicken, fries,salad, and tempura. Not to mention the dessert. my fiance was well pleased from the minute we walked in. It was a friday night, and I was a little worried about the seating time with our reservations after reading some of these other reviews. But we were seated as soon as we walked in. Bottom line, people have different opinions, but i would definately check out the positive ones and try it urself. We had wonderful service with the waiters. We were pampered. (my cup was constantly filled when needed.) Not one single complaint. Pros: great food, service, and ambience Cons: a little pricy but well worth it more

I love coming to One and think of it as a great place to dine, as well as party. On Mondays, Fridays, and Saturday's the restaurant has their promoted nights. A lot of great looking people, the drinks are amazing, and it is a wonderful dining experience. If you want to have a delicious meal and party, come to One. Their waiters are great, the bartenders know what they are doing unlike most places, and it is just a great place to be in on a busy night. more

What an awesome "Restaurant -that-turns -into-a-Night-Club"-- if that is even a word?! The food here is surprisingly good, moderately priced and great for sharing. The "One of Everything"/Chef Tasting Menu was an adventure and the service by Sky made the nite :) The chef was very personal and both of the managers we sleek, hip and very professional. Can't wait to go back again. Pros: Cute AND Smart Waiter; Great Management, Vibe & Food! Cons: Would be nice to have a few more Health-Conscious Options on the Menu. more

I thought the squash blossoms, tuna tartare, mini burgers and dessert were the best things! Of course, the other dishes were great, but these stood out. My favorite part of a meal is the appetizers so One sunset is perfect because they offer a Tapas menu. You have to try the Spicy Tuna Tartare (its seriously to die for) and the Miso-glazed salmon skewers are delicious. The drinks are so original I love the Naughty School Girl with the lollipop and the White Orchid. Definitely a great place to go with a lot of friends. Pros: Ambience, Drinks, and food Cons: nothing! more
