After golfing at Omni Interlocken my perception of golf has changed. I grew up on the great plains of Kansas and we didn't have much and far as golf courses are concearned. I've played on it all, from cement greens to dirt fairways. My first experience on the Interlocken was great although it was an immature golf course. I could tell the superintendent loved his job because he was very good at it. All the greens, fairways, tees, collars, and approaches were very well manicured. The staff very well at work, but at the same time out of site. I received great service at the pro-shop and enjoyed a fast tasty lunch. Pros: challenging greens, excellent staff, wide hole variation Cons: drainage problem, no tree cover, affilliated w/ hotel more

Beautiful Views, Great Golf 8/23/2002

Very lovely course with fabulous views and a superb staff and clubhouse. Well worth the trip. Pros: beautiful, challenging, friendly Cons: planes are noisy more

The experience is not worth admission 6/26/2002

Yeah the service is friendly. But 100 plus it should be. The course can be challenging but then again any course is challenging when you slice. Bring a couple extra sleeves, some better deals can be found more

Editorial

  • In Short
All three nines will challenge the low-handicapper with their tight fairways, fast greens and elevation change. The courses aren't long, but all of the sand traps, hilly areas and thick grass fringes do make them more difficult than your average Colorado course. The facilities are top notch, complete with a swank driving range (hit nice balls off real grass), fancy locker rooms and a pro shop that has actual good taste in clothes.
