Terrible company, avoid them at all costs. The salespeople are nice and friendly, but once you're a renter they stop caring.\r \r Have very few maintenance people, so it will take weeks to fix anything, if they don't just ignore your issues altogether. Pass everything off on property owners, no sense of empathy at all. Wish I had read this page and rented with someone else... more

Overall did a good job managing my aparment while I lived there. The staff and maintenance were professional and friendly for the most part. Had a positive experience with no major problems. I would recommend to friends and family. more

Olympus Nelson are by far the worst property management company we have ever had the bad fortune to deal with. We lived in an apartment for a substantial amount of time and the list of mishandling and terrible customer service goes on and on. more

Company must be getting all the late fees and ""maintenance fees!"" They tried to charge an employee of mine saying her rent was not received on the 9th when the actual check had posted to the bank on the 6th. Then tried to say it was the 7th. They have a lease clause with a penalty if you want maintenance and they show and you are not there. She got lucky being there as they wont give you a window of when or a call when near or day... She happened to be home when maintenance showed 6 DAYS LATER!! to fix her toilet and bath tub. What scum bags. Just look at the picture online, tells it all. more

Olympus Nelson did a terrible job getting my property rented. After 6 months I had to find my own renters. They showed very little motivation to make me money and always found a reason to charge for something. After finding a different management compant I found a renter after only 2 weeks. I am sorry for all the time I wasted on this company. more

Work orders are not handled in a timely manner -- even emergencies. We were happy with our rental until Olympus/Nelson took over management. Now we are considering moving out rather than riding along as the place goes south. Pros: More resources than a guy with a screwdriver. Cons: Emergencies are apparently not high on their priority list. more

I've lived at one of Olympus/Nelson's properties for a year and a half, and have really enjoyed the building. It's in a great area. The company is pretty quick about fixing maintenance issues. I had a leak in my ceiling after Ike, and the ceiling actually looked better after it got fixed then when I moved in! I've never had any problems with the company, and recommend them to friends that are looking for places to live. Pros: location, service Cons: parking more

Normally I'm not moved to act when I receive bad service; I'm generally very understanding. But I have never received such consistently bad service from an apartment management company. Olympus Nelson is very reluctant to address any problems that you bring to their company. We have called, emailed, and sent a written letter requesting them to deal with several problems that we have been having since September 2008. Most of the problems have not even been addressed by them. The couple they addressed (leaky toilet and leaking ceiling) have not been fixed in an appropriate manner (think kitchen wire tie and expecting paint to fix a leaking roof). They take the cheap way out and obviously do not care about their renters. I am not saying your experience will be like mine, but inspect the apartment VERY well before you rent. Test all appliances, toilets, etc. Inspect the ceilings and floors...and don't expect your deposit back. The real estate agents are extremely friendly--like used car salesmen. In my experience olympus-nelson is legal, but not honest. They consistently left out important information when it suited their best interests. It's best to avoid them all together. Go with a more professional, and honest, company. Not sure where you are coming from, but this is an extremely professional company. Very diligent in remediating tenant issues; and tending to the needs of not only the owners, but tenants as well. more
