customer service can not be worde than this 5/29/2008

I left my boat on their service department to work on some items who were under warranty, Didn't hear from them atall for 3 weeks, finally decided to call them and see what's going on about my boat, they couldn't find my boat and not even paper that shows my boat is there. they told me that they are going to call me in 20 minutes, finally i called them after 3 days and ask to talk to their manager, he told me some parts are on order and your boat will be ready in 4 days, and it took them 26 more days until i went there and waited for 7 hours and pushed them to fix my boat. more

Poor Customer Service 5/25/2007

I should have taken the advice of the earlier dissatisfied customer. I went in today to purchase a water pump for my 5.7L Merc. I was assisted by Garth Wraspir the parts manager. He didn't have the part but said he would call around to see if he could find it and have it shipped out. After being on the phone several minutes he told me the part was on its way and it would be out this afternoon. He did this without ever offering to inform me of the price. When asked how much, he said it was $500.00 but his price was $257.00. I explained that this was too much. I let him know that I just checked Merc Parts Express and the cost was $125.00. Merc Express would be delivering that part to him as my pick-up site. I let him know this was the same OEM part that he was selling me for $257.00. He sarcastically said ""thanks"" turned his back on me and walked back into his office. I don't know how this guy got the impression that I was obligated to let him to spend my money with giving an OK first. This was my first time in the store and it will be my last. Cons: Poor Service more

Worst experience ever 1/29/2006

I highly recommend avoiding the Everett Olympic Boat Center. I recently bought a boat through them and the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I originally went in to buy a new boat but when I switched to a 2002 (still a relatively expensive boat) the salesperson tried to sell me the new boat twice more than completely disappeared. In the meantime it took weeks to get delivery of my boat (needed some work done that never seemed to happen) and I had to do all the legwork to find out what was going on. No one from the Everett store ever called me, I had to initiate everything. Unless you want an ulcer I suggest going to a different boat center. Cons: Poor Customer Service, No follow through more
