All You Can Eat Salad and Bread Sticks 3/6/2006

Where else can you go to that gives you all the salad and bread sticks you can eat, and they are delicious? You can have your salad and entrées sprinkled with some fresh grated Parmesan cheese if you like. They will ask you if you want some before they start grating. You get plenty of food, and what you can not eat makes for a great lunch the next day. I do believe in doggy bags - not for the dog, but for me! Because of the prices, we only go to this Italian Restaurant on special occasions. Italian restaurants are not known to be inexpensive anyway. There are three Italian restaurants we go to in this area, and all of them are pricey, so we save these restaurants for our special gatherings of friends and family, and our occasional special dates, like an anniversary or birthday celebration. Their is a special children's menu for the kids with favorites like Macaroni and Cheese or Spaghetti for less than $5.00. Their meal includes a free drink and salad. I'm not much for spaghetti, so I go for all the other entrées on the menu. I like to have several choices to choose from like I do at the Olive Garden. My favorite Italian Restaurant is in Felton, California - Mama Mia's - and nothing has ever compared to that one for us. I was excited there was an Olive Garden in Victorville when we moved here because I had never been to an Olive Garden as yet. I found it to be a great place to eat Italian food. I can only give it a great rating, because Mama Mia's gets my excellent rating. more

A Great Place 2/1/2006

My first visit to an Olive Garden Restaurant was in Victorville. In the last 8 years since I have lived in Apple Valley, I have visited there many times. We go there with our friends for dinner. But, the most fun I have had there has been lunches with my girl friends. What do I usually get? The salad and soup - all you can eat. The last time I was at the Olive Garden was when my best friend took me there for my birthday. Yes, I had the soup and salad! And those delicious bread sticks too! Our waiter gave us great service with a big smile. We were seated immediately. They don't make you wait if there is a table available, and they also don't run you off if you want to stay for some dessert or just visit with your friends. By the way, great desserts too! I must say, I didn't leave there any skinnier, but I was pleasantly full of great food. For the children in the family, the children's menu includes such favorites as Grilled Chicken and Pasta, Macaroni and Cheese, Spaghetti, Chicken Fingers and Fries for less than $5.00 each. A free drink and super salad comes with their meal. more

Free Breadsticks. 8/5/2005

One of the positives I like about the Olive Garden is their neverending supply of those great breadsticks that they give to everyone. Their food is also great, but it is a little on the pricey side. Their tour of italy is a great type of sampler meal, but its a bit on the high price end. Overall its great food for a high price. more

Overpriced Italian food 8/4/2005

good Food, expensive Prices. If you want alot for your money, do not go here. Only that special someone not the kiddies should be taken here. Who wants to pay $12 for lasagne?. How about $8 for a small pizza? The wait time was good for a friday, and the waiter was courteous. All an all, too much money, not enough food. Not for the working mans budget more

Where's the accomadations!!! 7/2/2005

Wonderful food and quality service, but is not a weight loss friendly portion control restaurant. Would not let a weight loss surgery patient order from the senior or child's menu, although that person could only eat 1-2 OUNCES of food. more
