Dr. Mitchell Relocated to 448 W 57th St NYC 10019 5/19/2011

I went to Dr. Mitchell for the first time in 2009 because for about 3 months I had been dealing with a crippling case of frozen shoulder (also known as adhesive capsulitis) in both shoulders, and had been to multiple doctors and physical therapists for treatment, and my condition was worsening. My arms were locked down to my sides due to excessive scar tissue, which formed in the shoulder joints, and I was scheduled for surgery with an orthopedic surgeon to have the scar tissue removed to release the joints. Dr. Mitchell analyzed my condition and with great care and thought, proceeded to treat me. After the very first visit, he was able to relieve the majority of the pain. Something no other doctors were able to do. While continuing to see Dr. Mitchell, I also kept my scheduled surgical appointment and had the scar tissue surgically removed from my right shoulder. The recovery from the surgery was long and painful, and I was prescribed Dilaudid, by the surgeon. Dr. Mitchell continued to treat me. While recovering from the surgery, another surgery was planned for the left shoulder...but before I went in for that second surgery, Dr. Mitchell had managed to release the joint. I canceled the second surgery and continued to see Dr. Mitchell, who brought me back to full health in a very intelligent, careful, natural, and non-invasive way. He not only convinced me of his abilities, but everyone around me observing the process, including a family member who is a doctor of internal medicine, has been convinced, and swears by him. Need I say more? Dr. Gerald Mitchell is the best chiropractor in NYC. more

Dr Gerald Mitchell, chiropractor, is a godsend to my back 7/26/2006

Dr. Mitchell is the kind of doc that you go to, don't say a word, and he figures out all of your pains amd fixes them too. I recommend him so highly that not only do I tell others to visit him but I even give him a present during the holidays and a hug to show my appreciation because he helped me so much. I at age 14 had dehibilitating sculosis. I was in pain all the time and had difficulty concentrating in school. I lived in upstate NY at that time. For a college internship I came to manhattan where I found Dr. Mitchell at his own office practice. Never before him did I get better relief. Now that he's at the Olive leaf the environment is a pleasure when I visit him for maintenance when I think I need it. Thank god Dr. Mitchell is a chiroprator and a good honest one at that!! Pros: professional, excellent, happy Cons: he's so good sometime the wait is a little long once you get there. That's ok, je's worth it. more
