From a kids point of view 10/12/2009

I had the Mac and cheese on the kids meal with a side of fries. I had a Roy Rodger to. The restauront itself is very nice and cozy. Sort of small but with a BIG menu. The waiter we had was very nice. Almost like a professional. Great service. I like the mac and cheese but there where masks hangin around the room that were a little bit disturbing more

Old Brogue Irish Pub 9/19/2005

My husband and I first discovered this Irish pub when we were on our house hunting trip to Northern Virginia. We liked it so much that in the one week we were here we went back twice. We now go about once a month and we always find a new favorite on the menu. They have a great kids menu and my kids beg to go there. more

An Irish Tradition 8/9/2005

The Old Brogue offers a full bar and casual dining. They have a menu which include irish fare as well as american. They offer live music and a wonderful assortment of beer. For those who love the pub atmosphere, this is the place to go. Just to hang out or to dine with your friends or loved ones, try this place and you will keep coming back. more

Good local's pub 8/6/2005

The locals really love this place. I know because I have driven past it a couple of St. Patricks Days and their parking lot is overflowing all over town. On the occasions I have eaten there, the food is always dependable, as is the service. They have live entertainment which I don't really care for, but I can see is well enjoyed by the types of people who like it. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it, with homestyle entres on the menu. All your favorites from pot roast to mashed potatos and steak. They even have weeknight specials. I know it is really basic, but for whatever reason, I really dig their chicken finger strips appetizer - they're always good. The only downfall about this place is that it is a smoke-filled atmosphere, and you WILL leave smelling the smoke on your clothes (if you're a non-smoker). Other than that, there's nothing I could improve on. more
