Old Mac Donald's Farm

I went here for a friend's baby's birthday. There were bees EVERYWHERE! The staff told us there was nothing they could do. I was actually stung through my jeans. Of course, there are some positives. They have tons of kid-friendly things to do; like pet animals, fish for craw-dada, Playground equiptment, and a very slow moving train that circles the property. Not gonna lie though...this place opened when I was young and the upkeep has not been great. It felt very trashed. more

Old MacDonald's Farm is located on FM 1960 near the Tour 18 golf course. The place is a petting zoo more than anything else. The price of admission is fairly cheap and children seem to really like it. The place is an open field with a pavillion. It is usually not very crowded but there are birthday parties that take place there. In fact, for the money, it is a good place for a birthday party. more

Great place to have a picnic, birthday party or just have a family outing. They have a swimming pool, a petting zoo, a train the kids can ride. You can buy feed for the animals and feed them or just walk by and check them out. You can even ride a pony! more

My son absolutely loves this place. It's a zoo away from the zoo. He loves all the animals and the train rides. He said he would ride the train all day if he could! The best time to go is in the spring when the weather is not too hot or early morning in the summer. We tried it during the heat of the day, and had to cut it short. Texas heat is too much to bear for us. Other than that this is a perfect weekend excursion. Make that anytime! more

As the previous poster suggested, this place is perfect for a birthday party. We recently had a party for my son there. He was enthralled and had an extremely great time with his friends. In fact, I had a multitude of parents come up to me to congratulate and thank me on the success of the party and the wonderful locale it had taken place at. However, most of the adults had a wonderful and magnificent time. They acted like kids and were laughing most of the time. It is a wonderful thing to make your child happy and this party at Old MacDonald's had my son so happy that he said that he had the best time of his life. Old MacDonald's Farm is a place where they have animals that you can actually touch. They have live deer running around and they are so friendly. They also have a train ride, swimming pool and barn that is full of hay that the kids can play in. It is a great place for a birthday party. It is fun for the whole family. I really enjoy it. more
