Went here over the weekend for my first pair of glasses ever. Angela and Dave were the best! I think I tried on about 25 pairs of frames before we made a team (my two kids, hubby, Angela, and Dave) decision about which was the best pair for me. \r \r On top of their GREAT customer service, I got a GREAT price for a top of the line pair of glasses.\r \r Thanks Ocean Eyes Optical. I ordered a pair of glasses online from this company. I received my glasses and they were fine. Good price. However, the next week they shipped me an order that was meant for someone else. I contacted them and told them of THEIR error. I did the right thing. I asked what they would like me to do with them. They emailed me a label for return. All was fine or so I thought.... Apparently I didn't send them soon enough (one week and 2 days had passed due to my work schedule) because I received an email stating that they were going to charge me for this order. Which as far as I know is against the law. A business cannot charge a customer for a product that he/she did not order in the first place. I had to have someone else take the order to be shipped because I work long hours thus inconveniencing yet another person. I was appalled by the rudeness of the customer service rep when this was not my error in the first place and I was trying to do the right thing. I called the main office in Brooklyn to speak to a manager. Not sure I actually got to speak to the manager because the woman on the phone was a bit snippy at first. Over all, they didn't seem to care that they made the mistake and were now inconveniencing me and treating me horribly. I will not use this company again if this is how they treat people regardless of the prices. more

came here cuz my cousin shops at ocean eyes, over all perfect. amazing price good service. they made me and my wife laugh . this is the kind of place were once you go you never switch. compared prices to the internet and another store that is in walking distance and i saved about 60 dollars on a pair of ray ban prescription glasses more

Firstly my sister works in the industry, and she recomended them over all of her customers. I didnt buy the frames from them, but they didnt add on any fees like other stores tried to to. I usually get a new pair of eye glasses annually, bc the coatings would erode, or the transitions would turn yellowish; until David (the owner) informed me that other store were selling me generic brand materials. \r \r I was so angry bc other stores ""sweet talked"" me into believing I was getting a killer deal, when in reality it costing me alot of time and satisfaction when I had to wear defective seeing glasses until i could get an updated perscription and frames. \r \r My point is give them a try even if you just want to ask them a question, I think you will see the difference.\r \r Sincerely,\r \r Dom P Pros: Refer to headline Cons: N/A more
