We had so much fun at my friends bachelorette party at Poppes. Our large party was no problem for them. Everything was great: the server, the food, the drinks and the music. The manager even took our picture and printed one for the bride-to-be. The martinis are so reasonably priced because you get a huge shaker on the side. Scoping the scene we joked around and picked out potential love interests for all our single friends. And there were a lot of cute guys to choose from. All in all what a great time. more

I'm going to say it - if I could choose anywhere in Bellingham to go for a drink - this would be it! They have the most yummy, fun martinis anywhere around. It's a great hangout spot, live jazz on the weekends, good music played otherwise, place to hang out! Unlike other bars around, there is no dancing which for me equates to no nasty guys grinding on me. The crowd ranges from 21(duh) to around probably late 40's (though they get looks if they're alone). If you want to smoke you have to go outside to the patio, which is spacious and has heat lamps. My latest favorite drink there is the chocolate mint which tastes exactly like melted chocolate chip mint ice cream. Before that my favorite was the Gummi Bear -which came with Gummi Bears on a skewer! Too fun! more

This bar has a great atmosphere, and live music on the weekends, and a great patio to sit outside, even year round with the heat lamps out there. They have really good food, especially their appetizers menu and it goes well with anyone of their many martinis. It might be a little pricey, but totally worth the splurge! more

This is one of the more classy bars in town. It is smoke-free and very classy. You don't find the same young kids here as you would at other bars, probably because you can't smoke inside. The patrons are older which makes this bar a great place to go for after work drinks, night out with the girls or even a bachelorette party. This is the kind of bar you can go to in jeans, or an evening dress and you won't feel out of place either way. It's quiet so you can hear each other talk. You'll have a great night out here. more
