Fantastic 5/25/2006

Just had the side by side massage with my girlfriend here and it was fantastic. While the relaxation room was a bit filled with giggling women in markeup (I don't understand wearing makeup to the spa) for my taste, the services and the space were excellent and the sauna was amazing. I'm definitely rearranging my budget to make this a regular event. more

Ahhhh! 12/7/2005

I've had the fortune to receive a number of gift certificates to Oasis so I've been quite a few times. I like the Park Ave location better than Union Square because it is roomier and the building has a better vibe. The Swedish and Lava Stone massages were amazing...but never long enough. Had my first facial ever here and could have done without it. It may have been because they were having a special on facials that month (oh yeah..must sign up on their web site for the monthly deals), and the women was overworked but she really rushed through the whole thing. Overall though a wonderful experience. more

Great! 12/3/2005

I went there for a Aromatherapy massage during the summer. The staff was friendly. I had a woman massaging me, and she was extremely friendly and nice. The experience was pretty good. They have a sauna. There is a room where you can have fruits and tea while waiting for your turn to be massaged. My friend had the Medical Massage, and he said it helped a lot. more

Good spa 9/18/2005

Pretty decent spa but there are better and there are worse. Prices are high but not by New York CIty standards. Service was good to great depending on who you deal with. This spa has wide ranging services and was decent for the ones I tried. The third star was for the full body message, which was done well in a nice atmosphere and left me feeling calm and relaxed afterwards. Overall, its a decent place and may procide the right fix - espacially if you work or live near by, more

Ohmmm.... 8/17/2005

I went for a massage and loved every minute of my experience. First, you walk in and it is as if you are entering another world--down a hallway, stairs that are candlelit with soothing music enveloping you, and finally your reach the reception area. I was warmly greeted and led to my changing area. There is a "relaxation room" where one goes pre and post massage that is also candlelit and has water and tea. The actual massage was to my liking and I left feeling like I was walking on air. Its prices are comparable to other spas of this caliber. more

Great "oasis" in the city 8/8/2005

From the moment you walk in the staff are concerned with your well being - They seem to truly want to make your experience enjoyable - Questions are asked and adjustments made in treatments to tailor them exactly how you like them. I've been to a couple of spas here in NYC, and I always have a great time, but I went to Oasis on Park on Friday and had a wonderful time. I had a massage and a facial. It was amazing. The decor is lovely, and the guy and girl at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Definitely a top pick! My mom & I do a "spa day" once every year and after trying numerous spas in the city...oasis day spa is our number one choice. we have been back for four years in a row and are looking forward to the next four. more

Place to Relax 6/30/2005

This is a great spa. The prices for the area are typical, though if from outside of New York City, you may find them above average. Service is great. You are always felt welcomed, no matter what treatment you receive. This a full service Spa proving anything from massages, manicures, to makeup and haircuts. Very conviently located near both a hotel and public. more

Calming 6/17/2005

The Oasis Day Spa has lovely common rooms with a serene atmosphere. The only area I found to be disturbing is the communal waiting area for appointments -- I felt very odd waiting in a public area for my massage, wearing only a bathrobe! I would have preferred to wait in a private room. The Spa offers a variety of massages, including prenatal massage, as well as a full range of beauty treatments. more
