I lived in this dump for far too long. At first, the apartments seemed to be okay, and management was nice at first. Once I was moved in, and the lease was signed, the true nature of the Oakstone Apartment management became painfully clear. They will use any excuse they can to retain your deposit. For example, when we moved in there was already writing and marks on the garage walls. The blinds in the apartment were chipped, bent, and in bad shape. They asked us to pay for new blinds, and we did. They did not put the new blinds in. When we left, they told us that the writing and markings on the wall were our responsibility, and that we would need to pay to have the garage painted. They also told us that we would need to pay again for the broken blinds. So, they kept our deposit. They argued terribly with my wife while I was at work, and would not return my e-mails or calls. I have contacted various agencies, some State offices, and will be getting a lawyer as well. They lie and cheat, and will do whatever they can to get as much money out of you as they can. Plus, there were three gang-related shootings about 20 feet from out front door during the 1 year that we lived there. That is an average of one shooting every four months. Can you live with that? The police were at the complex AT LEAST once a week, frequently more. Do yourself a favor, and look somewhere else. This place is a dump, and management is nothing but a bunch of arrogant, lying, and cheap people who will do whatever they can to squeeze money out of your wallet.
Pros: It is close to the Front Runner.
Cons: There are far too many cons to list, just don't live there!!
