This place is awesome! I would recommend sitting outside on the river if you get the chance. It will definately be worth the wait. The atmosphere is gorgeous and unbelievably relaxing. This is tops on our list for all seasons. We enjoy pre-sking breakfasts, an ice cream break on a hot day and the feeling of getting away for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The food has always been great! The unique atmosphere The Oaks provides makes any occasion special. Pros: scenery / river side, outside dining, great food more

hidden gem 9/20/2005

what a refreshing discovery in a world of burger kings - a cafe tucked in the magnificent beauty of Ogden Canyon with tables built on decks over a river and genuine home cooked food. And at resonable prices. The owners run the place and even jump in the kitchen, so there is some pride that goes into the food - and it shows. Can get busy on weekends, but still worth the wait. Highly recomend! Pros: natural setting, food Cons: none! more

Fresh nature atmosphere and great food 7/14/2002

I loved The Oaks, the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous (outside anyway.) Sitting right next to the river with Humming birds buzzing around constantly would have been enough to please me, but they went a leap further with wonderful service and fresh cooked food! I love to pair the Sun tea with their mouth-watering grilled Vegetarian sandwich with fresh avacado and melted motzerella. more
