I have eaten at Osho since I was a child and have always had an amazing experience. I love the sushi, the staff is great, and I never had a bad meal.

Delicious food, great entertainment 5/30/2006

Osho is a Japanese hibachi restaurant on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, close by to the Poughkeepsie Galleria and other shopping. Their prices aren't cheap, by any means, with a full meal running around $30 a person, but the food you get for your money is high quality, including steak and seafood. The chef cooks at hibachi grills, entertaining you with food tricks as he cooks (and often singing while cooking). I find the atmosphere is not as nice as Gasho in Orange County, but I think Osho's food is better. more

They have great food and an atmosphere unlike any other. You have the option of having sushi at a regular table or sitting at the big hibatchi tables. At the hibatchi tables, a chef cooks at each table whatever you order. They put on a great show and you get tons of food. The options are from basic chicken to shrimp and filet minon. YOu also get rice, noodles, vegetables and salad. Its a great place to go with a group. They seat 8 people at a table. I've been recently during a mom's night out and we had a great time and a great meal. more

O'SHO Japanese Steak House which is located in Poughkeepsie, across from the Galleria Mall. This restaurant does not just provide good food but it also provides amazing entertainment. Even tough the food is pretty expensive; once you remind yourself that you are also paying for the entertaining chef it doesn't seem expensive at all. The food is great too. more

Very fancy 8/10/2005

O'Sho Japanese Steak House features hibachi and sushi and serves thai fusion cuisine. It is very fancy and they cook your food right in front of you. It makes you feel like a queen or king. But because of all this the prices are expensive. I would definitely reccomend this place for a family dinner or celebration. more
