Best Salon in Town 9/18/2006

I discovered Nova Hair Salon one day while in Center City. That was five years ago. Now, I absolutely could not imagine ever going to another salon. Not only is everybody highly talented, they are warm and down to earth. There is one major factor that separates this salon from so many others - everybody cares! They actually take the time to listen to what you want and give you what you asked for. I leave each time feeling really great about hair. PS - I have never seen so much detail put into giving a perm. Each curl comes out PERFECT! Pros: Great looking hair every time! more

Great service, friendly, comfortable environment, best haircuts and color in the city 8/24/2006

Nova Hair Salon is the best kept secret in the city. They provide the best service, and great haircuts and color with the most comfort. No pressure, they only want you to be happy with your hair and nails. They have been around longer than most of the other salons in the city and all the really important Philadelphians have been clients for years! I think they should be rated as the number 1 hair salon in Philadelphia! Pros: Service, quality, atmosphere Cons: Parking could be a drawback but there is a parking garage a few doors down and parking is tough all over the city more

Great overall experience 8/21/2006

I began going to Nova 15 years ago, first for nails and now for everything. I have received more compliments on my hair---cut, color----than I have ever had before. Rose and Marianne and the entire group that work there are friendly, knowledgable, and make you feel like family. more

I've been going to the salon for nearly 20 years and have always been more than satisfied. Marianne and Rose are extremely professional and their stylists are as well. They are up-to-date on all the latest trends and continually educate themselves in order to offer the best services available. more

Hairstylists that listen and give you the look you want 8/6/2006

NOVA has been the best hair salon experience I have ever had. My hairstylist actually listens to what I want. I have been very satisfied with my visits there and highly recommend NOVA. Pros: Clean and friendly atmosphere/ Skilled hairstylists/ Professional and courteous staff/ Relaxing shampooings :-) more

Everyone is cheerful & friendly, It's so nice after a busy day, to come to place that welcomes you with open arms. It's like a breath of fresh air!!
