I went to Susan with concerns about bad cholesterol and glucose numbers, weight and i.b.s. issues. I didn't want to end up on some wacky regime because I knew I wouldn't stick with it. Susan was great! She gave me very realistic suggestions after an in-depth analysis of my 3-day food diary. She didn't dismiss packaged foods (I'm lazy, what can I say?) but instead had folders of packaging labels for healthier meals tailored to my needs. Of course she encouraged me to eat lots of fresh foods as well, and had tons of recipes available to spur my cooking skills. She reviewed the supplements I was taking and suggested additions and subtractions to make sure I was getting what I needed. She also educated me on the great range of formulations and effectiveness of different brands.
I've dropped 10 pounds, my gut feels calm again, and I just received much improved numbers on my cholesterol and glucose. I feel back in control and able to continue to improve my health because of Susan's advice and support.
