Perfect Every Single Time 4/4/2009

When I asked others for recommendations when we moved here 5 years ago, I asked for a "good dry cleaners." My husband and I have been taking our cleaning (both dry cleaning and his shirts) to this establishment since then. Our clothes are always returned in perfect condition. I have had too many clothes ruined at other cleaners in other cities with too many excuses in response. Northumberland is not more pricey than dry cleaners in other cities provides excellent service. You do get what you pay for. more

GREAT cleaners you can trust! 11/29/2006

I have been bringing clothing to this establishment for over 10 years, having been recommended to me by some of the top clothing stores in the city. I have had clothing literally DESTROYED without apology or compensation from several other cleaners in town, as have many of my friends. Northumberland has done amazing work with my clothing, including tough jobs that most other cleaners couldn't touch. The staff is also TREMENDOUSLY friendly, a stark contrast to all the other establishments in the area. My clothing has always been returned "like new." As they say: you get what you pay for. Take your chances with other cleaners, or take your clothes to Northumberland and pay a few bucks more. more

Ridiculously expensive cleaners! 8/16/2005

This dry cleaners/tailors is located on Northumberland, and so is close to most residential northern Squirrel Hill. Unfortunately, I would never recommend this place because of their astronomically high prices. The service was acceptable (my clothes were cleaned), but at the price I paid, I could have gotten them studded with diamonds, too. Tailoring is equally pricey, with prices at least $5 higher than every other tailor in Squirrel Hill. It's too bad -- this business is in a great location -- but unless you want to empty your wallet for simple dry cleaning, I'd recommend walking a few blocks and going somewhere else. more
