Northstar should fit the bill. The café is at a great location in the Short North and near Victorian Village, so that if you still have conversations to finish after your meal, you have a good area to walk in. The wait-staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the types of food they serve; the selection is quite good . And they use organic food, which makes for very tasty fresh squeezed orange juice and smoothies. Their website isn't much help, but if you need recommendations on which dishes are good... try the peanut butter cookies, any smoothie, their pancakes (you'll have to make it in time for breakfast for these) any flat bread dish, or if you're lucky enough to be there when they have it on special, the Santa Fe salad is excellent. The parking lot for the café is difficult to maneuver due to its small size. But the street parking has never been a problem as an option.
