I have dealt with this company twice now and both experiences have been not very favorable. First off we purchased tickets for a concert here in Minnesota. The published t icket price was lower than ticketmaster so I bought them. By the time I was done we had spent way more than if I had just gone with ticketmaster. To add insult to injury the seats were two rows from the top in the balcony. Yuk. The second experience was when they charged us a second time for the same show that we had already gone to. Disputed that charge with my credit card company but they ended up paying it and writing it off as a loss. Hmmm, wonder how many other people they have ripped off for $548. Stay away from Northside tickets and ""Tom"" in particular. more

ticket sales 12/23/2010

Terrible awful experience. I purchased a ticket for the off broadway musical Hair. While the price they charged me was $220.40, the actual ticket cost was $55, (plus $10.65 to Fred Meyer Ticket Master) and was in a terrible location in the theater. Northside Ticket charged me $170 + $37.40 + $15 for a $55 ticket. When I called they said it was because the show was sold out and they sell tickets to sold out shows. However. I live near Fred Meyer retail store and contacted them as well as the Theater and Ticket Master. All confirmed that the show was not sold out for any of the show dates at the time of my inquiry, (after receiving my tickets from Northside tickets). Northside Tickets is a huge rip off to the consumer. They state that they do not sell you their own tickets but then once you recieve them the tickets may be from Ticket Master. They neglect to state anywhere on their site as of 12/23/2010, that Northside Tickets may charge you over $100 extra for no particular reason for a ticket that might only be $10, ), according to Katherine Heely of Northside Tickets). Their staff is not helpful and pretty much tells you they have been doing this for 20 years and if you don't like it go someplace else. Do not let these people take advantage of you. Call your lawyer, find others who have been taken advantage of by this company and contact me. Make copies of your tickets and conversations with these people. more

BEWARE OF THESE RIP-OFF ARTISTS...GO ELSEWHERE! 10/27/2009

BEWARE! I purchased orchestra level seats and paid premium prices but my tickets were for the cheapest seats available in the upper balcony--nothing like what I had paid for! Definitely would not trust these people operating under various names with nonexistent customer service. I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau, Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, the Texas and Georgia state attorney generals and any other entity I can find. THEIVES WITH A BUSINESS LICENSE! FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO BUY!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Worst tickets ever! more

Poor customer service and total RIP OFF 4/3/2009

What a disappointing transaction with this company. On Tuesday I bought tickets to see a show at the Hobby Center that Friday night. After I placed the order online, and my credit card was charged, I received a phone call saying that the tickets were no longer available because someone else purchased the tickets at the same time. Fine. The owner agreed to find more tickets; no one ever called to say whether or not they'd found tickets for me, but they had no problem holding on to my $200 dollars. After several phone calls (on my behalf), they finally called just hours before the show to say that they found tickets for an extra $80. Since I already arranged a babysitter and promised my wife I agree, and was told by the owner, Tom, that they would email me the tickets immediately. I waited at my office for over an hour for the email so I could print them before heading home. When I still hadn't received them, I called Northside tickets yet again...only to hear that their system was down and they'd have to send someone next door to use a neighbor's computer to email me my tickets (WHAT?!). When I still hadn't received the tickets, I called the owner again and asked for a refund (of course there are NO REFUNDS), when I told him that I would not be a return customer (no cursing or yelling), Tom said ""Good"" and hung up on me. Is that the way to talk to someone who you just charged $300 to their amex? Don't do business with this guy. Get your tickets early, or go somewhere else! Pros: They can email your tickets, BUT... Cons: you have to call several times to see why they haven't come more
