It is with pleasure that I write this letter expressing my satisfaction with Gadi, Rory and his crew regarding my move on 8/31/06. I had over 20,000 pounds to move, including 40 boxes of china, a huge china cabinet and several new pieces of furniture about which, I must confess, I was extremely nervous. Not only did all my china and furniture arrive in perfect order, the care, professionalism and efficiency the crew demonstrated truly made what could have been a difficult day quite easy. I am grateful. I must say that my husband, who is very frugal and critical, said that he was more than pleased and he didnt even mind paying the bill. The crew earned every penny. Gadi was a pleasure to work with - personable, confident and reassuring, while Rory was an efficiency machine who coordinated and supervised everything perfectly. In July of 2006, we searched high and low for a trustworthy company to move the owners in and out of a house we rented for our television reality show. There was no question who would get the job done the best once we found Gadi Avigzer at NorthStar Moving Corporation. From the beginning, Gadi and the NorthStar staff was nothing but helpful in providing options that accommodated our tight budget, and service that was unmatchable. Not only ws Gadi availiable to talk to us any time we called, from the beginning he treated us like family and he made sure that ll of our questions and concerns with the move were addressed immediately. I felt Gadi and the NorthStar staff were perfect for our project from the start, and they proved that and more with both moves. I am writing this letter to recommend the services of Gadi M. Avigzer, Project Manager for NorthStar Moving Corporation. When I first contacted Mr. Avigzer I wasn't sure about my plans and the move was rather complicated. I was sending some furniture to relatives in the midwest, and planning to store the rest of my belongings for an unspecified period of time. Only a few days before the second half of the move I changed my plans and told Gadi that I was taking an apartment in the area and needed to move in at the end of June,requiring storage of my belongings for just a two week period. Gadi Avigzer and the rest of the highly professional and capable staff at Northstar saw to it that everything went smoothly and were able, on short notice, to meet my needs. The move out of my prior residence went well and they accommodated my request to be in my new apartment before the end of the month, making a special effort to do so. Moving is a challenge, but Gadi Avigzer and the staff at NorthStar helped me meet the challenge successsfully. We used NorthStar this weekend to move from the South Bay to Cerritos. The time frame they gave was between 8 and 10 am, and they arrived right at 8, much to our delight. The two movers were friendly, even with our large dog barking at them. They were fast, efficient, and careful. The entire move took three hours, and before noon we were in our new place with all our furniture in tact. They're among the cheapest companies we researched, but they also have an A rating at the b b b (we checked after having a previous bad experience). Highly recommend them. I just got off the phone with Lynn from NorthStar to thank her for the wonderful job that NorthStar did with my move and I just had to tell people about it. First off, they bent over backwards to make my move on January 14th work with my schedule on such short notice. The guys were at my house promptly at 8am in Hermosa Beach. The two-man crew worked worked fast and had everything loaded out of my house in an hour. They then had to stop at my storage unit and pick up a couple of large items on the way to the final destination. By the time they were done at my new place in Cerritos, it was 11:10. Yup, just over three hours! Simply put, they worked hard, they were fast, nothing got broken and their price was among the lowest I found. It was the best $300 I ever spent. NorthStar moved us on December 13th and shortly after the move I called to tell NorthStar how great your movers were. Now that we have gotten around to unpacking all of our boxes we felt compelled to contact you again. They helped us pack under less than great circumstances, there was a lot of unorganized stuff laying around everywhere and I have to reiterate what a phenomenal !!! job they did for us. They packed even the smallest, least important things so well it"s really quite amazig and they did it quickly and efficiently. Eliraz Sade' was the team leader and he really deserves to be comended. Moving is never an enjoyable experience but working with you and your team made the process significantly easier. Even with the unforeseen problem we encountered with an inoperative elevator that morning, your staff kept their great attitudes and professionalism throughout the day. Additionally, they were very efficient and took great care making sure our furniture arrived to our new destination safely and undamaged. Before anymore time goes by, my wife and I want to thank you again for the excellent moving job you arranged for us. Gadi, the onsite estimator, kept track of everything while he and his crew worked like soldiers to guarantee the safe packing and delivery of our things to our new home. The guys really made the process as easy for us as we think anyone could. We were a little nervous at first, but as soon as the work began, we know we were in the right hands. They gave me a 16 day "delivery window" for my move from CA to OR. Then, they missed that window. They are not very good at keeping the customer informed, and the burden was on me to call them to get the status, which was annoying. I moved with Northstar on 10/13/06. I felt highly satisfied with the work they performed. I had many items that were extremely fragile, and they handled everthing with care. more

When I had to move here from Northern California to Los Angeles I was really scared about choosing the right moving company. I had first heard about NorthStar from a friend who made her move from los angeles to San Francisco. She said they were great. I then checked them out online with the Better Business B and they had a great rating. So far so good, right? The day of the move not only the guys did a great job wrapping and protecting my things for the long ride, but they were also very very nice. They worked hard and I bought them a pizza for lunch which they devoured, impatient to get back to work. They inventoried everything really well and the office called me the next day to let me know what the weight came out to be and the total charges. It was not only charging me exactly what they said they would but it also was well within my budget. Six days later the crew that showed up with my things in Los Angeles was just as great as the one that picked up the shipment. Everything that they took apart, they put back together. They placed the furniture exactly where I told them to (it's a 2 story home) and by the time they were done all I had left to do was sit on my couch and breath out. It was great. I definitely would recommend them to anybody in Los Angeles OR in San Francisco going anywhere in the contry! more
