I have been a frequent visitor to North Washington Street Kennel many times over past three years, as I am a dog lover. I can assure you that this is one of the finest dog facilities I have ever encountered. First of all, they have a very qualified veterinarian on staff. This vet monitors the health of the puppies while they are at the store and admininsters care to them after they are sold. How many pet stores have a qualified Vet on staff?? They acquire their puppies only from Federally and State licensed breeders, and they inspect these kennels regularly. There are no puppy mill puppies at their facility. They also have several veterinarian technicians employed at the facility, one of which is always on call, 24 hours a day, in case of an emergency. This on call vet tech is for those who have bought puppies and have health related issues during off hours. They provide this service so that you don't have to use an emergency vet and spend thousands of dollars. If you purchase a puppy from them, and it has or develops a condition that was undetected at the time of purchase, they will treat the puppy at no cost to you. These people really care and it shows! more

I have purchased two puppies from North Washington Street Kennel in the past year and a half. I could not have been happier with the service I received, and with the puppies that I purchased. Both of my puppies are very healthy and are still cared for by the Veterinary staff employed by the kennel. When you purchase a puppy from this kennel you are given a guarantee that your puppy is in good health. If it is found to not be healthy in any way, they will treat your puppy at no charge to you! When you purchase a puppy you are given a free exam with their vet, but you are not required to use it. You are welcome to take the puppy to any vet you would like to have its health evaluated, the good thing about using the vet at the kennel is that it is much much cheaper! It is obvious the kennel cares about the puppies or they would not got to such lengths to keep them healthy! I will continue to purchase my puppies here in the future! more

I never in all my years buying from them had a sick pup or seen sick puppies, i live in Colorado for 23 years. A very friendly environment, and the owner gets all the pups from reliable breeders, not puppy mills like you would see in mall shops. very good place to get your dogs. more
