I recently visited Norris for the first time and received a massage from Glow. I am a bit of a spa novice, but the entire staff made me feel comfortable and invited from check-in to check-out. The receptionists in particular were quick to acknowledge me and make me feel welcome. The customer service was top notch and very professional.
I would specifically recommend Glow to anyone looking for a high quality, knowledgeable masseuse. She did a fantastic job and gave me best massage I have ever had. I recently had some minor nerve damage, and she took this into account, really customizing her focus to how I reacted; you can tell she isn’t just running through a pre-set series of techniques. That is not to say she was overly cautious either. My shoulders feel remarkably different after she worked through the knots and my muscles feel more relaxed in general, even a day later.
Beyond her actual massage skills, Glow was very personable and pleasant. She let me dictate how much or how little conversation there was, which is a hard trait to find in people who work in a service industry. Her demeanor and warm personality added as much to the relaxing atmosphere as the low light and ambient music.
One final suggestion, if you do get the luxury of working with Glow, do not turn down the scalp massage. It felt amazing. So much so that I had a hard time describing it to the receptionists. I’ve since concluded the most applicable word would be “ethereal.”
Do yourself a favor, visit this spa and treat yourself for a little while, you’ll be happy you did.
