Nordstrom Spa on Michigan Ave is the best. I went there one day on my lunch to get a manicure and pedicure. I was very pleasantly surprised, service was amazing, and the lady who did my pedicure is a perfectionist. Prices are a bit higher than your average nail salons, but totally worth it. Recently I was in Vegas and got a mani and pedi at Caesar’s Palace spa. Not only did I pay an arm and a leg but it wasn't nearly as nice. My mani started chipping the next day and my nails weren't filed down (sharp edges). Let’s just say that I could have done a better job on my pedicure. Go to Nordstrom Spa, you'll get pampered and you can do some shopping after. more

I love going to nordstrom for shoes. everytime when I have the urge to buy just one more pair of shoes. I would go to nordstrom because I know I will find something. the only problem is I usually end up getting more than one pair! lol more

Samantha Denbow at the Anastasia Brow Studio inside Nordstrom is the best! She helped me grow out my over tweezed eyebrows into high brow perfection. Pros: valet parking & great service more

Outstanding treatments - Not so much the customer service 12/3/2007

I'd love to give this place a 5-star review, however outside of the actual spa treatments I received, the service was lousy. My facial was outstanding - I left without the usual "redness" and "irritation". My manicure was meticulous and lasted a week. The only reason I most likely won't return was the customer service I experienced with the reception area. It was not a busy day and the receptionist could barely be bothered to help me - much less answer the phone promptly. When she finally did assist me, it seemed as though I was interrupting her "busy day". I asked to speak to a manager - who surprisingly - did not apologize in the least bit way for her receptionist's behavior, but made excuses for it. It's a shame that one has to put up with this sort of behavior before such wonderful treatments. more

Soothing facilities & skillfull masseus 4/17/2006

The only other spas that could top this one are in Las Vegas. The facilities were nice, we were welcomed promptly and offered something to drink while waiting, cushy robes, and they rub your feet and give you one of those aromatic neck rests before your massage. Wish the facilities were bigger and had a wet/dry sauna or whirlpool, but still nice. Pros: Location, Service Cons: A bit expensive more

i first visited spa nordstrom last march and fell so deeply in love that i have been head over heals ever since. i refuse to go any place else for a pedicure-bye bye local nail shops. they have spoiled me for all other spas. i had the nordstrom spa pedi and it was beautiful. no massage chairs attached to tubs. you feel like royalty when you sit in the loveseat/throne. next you are given tea with an elixir (mine for relaxation) and a warm neck wrap, lavender scented. with htis pedi you even get paraffin. pure heaven! they will even validate your parking for a 3hr stay ($9~a great deal) which even gives you just enough time to do a little shopping a nordy's. Pros: no waiting, excellent manicurist, suggestions Cons: other appts waiting, limited time more

I get massages from this spa regularly. I love this place because it is quiet and intimate. The robes are fabulous. I love the foot bath. I never feel rushed. My massage therapist is very attentive. Pros: Nice dressing rooms, nice robes, quiet atmosphere more

WHAT an experience! 11/16/2004

I've been to several spas around the country, but Spa Nordstrom is at the top of the list! The ambiance is exquisite to the senses: the lighting is low with tea light candles and water trickling around you. The scent of eucaliptus and aroma therapy is all around. Highly recommend the hot stone massage with liquid yoga tea (free) afterwards. Pros: ambiance, free beverage service, pre-treatment relax Cons: , back/forth of staff, pricey more

Great selection from low prices to overly exclusive prices. And when Nordstrom decides to have their half yearly sales, you can get just about any shoe at really low prices. Pros: Large Selection, Half Yearly Sale Cons: Expensive, Poor Parking more

I loved the store and they always have what i'm looking for. The service in the shoe department could be better, but they do help out a lot once you get their attention after waiting ten (10) minutes. There is not alot to say except that Nordstroms is very expensive. This is not where you would go to buy shoes for the family, that is unless the family bread winner makes atleast 60.000 a year!! For some this is a laugh, but reality is there is a great amount of familys who live on less! I can't understand this storebeing on the top ten list. Pros: good quality Cons: expensive more

they have a great selection! the staff really knows the pros/cons of each designer and shoe. and you can always find someone to assist you, not like other dept. stores. if there's ever a problem with them, you can always return them without a hassle, again not like other dept. stores or boutiques!! more
