Good: The burgers and fries are the best!! The staff is very polite and this place always looks clean We eat here 2 or 3 times a week !!. Bad: Sad to see them close for the winter. Improvements: None its the best burger in Rome. Other: Good food Good crew Good prices and eating outside. more

This local ice cream/ quick service establishment is a fine fine fine place for getting ice cream or a quick bite to eat. I was reminded to write this review today, as I drove down Erie Blvd (where they are located) and saw some new signage out front. Can't wait for spring to get here! In addition to their great ice cream, they also have GREAT deals. Every Tuesday you can get Hoffman Hots 2/$1 (another local favorite!), which makes this my every Tuesday lunch spot during the summer months. I mean where else can you get lunch for 50 CENTS in this day and age! If you're ever in Rome, NY during the summer months, I highly recommend stopping here, especially if you have young ones, or are on a budget. The food is great, only to be topped by the affordable prices! more

A great place to stop for a yummy summer treat--Nicky Doodle's offers a great variety of ice cream (both hard and soft), sundaes, frozen treats, over 100 flavors of custard and even sugar free varieties! There are sizes to fit any appetite (even a tiny baby cone!) and plentiful outdoor seating at wooden tables and assorted swings. If you have more time, they also have an indoor restaurant with standard American fare--hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ sandwiches, fries,etc. and are especially popular on Tuesdays with the "2 Hoffmans for $.99" deal! Service is quick, servers are friendly--but be careful on hot summer nights--mosquitoes can be plentiful in the outdoor area (water is nearby!)! more

nicky doodles is a ice cream/order in restauraunt. you can order 2 hoffman hotdogs for $1. and get a frozen custard for desert. they make everything fresh right in front of your or they call you to pick it up once it is ready. reasonable prices, and great food. try this out if you are in rome more
