Quick, kind, great shoe repair! 2/14/2011

I did not have the unfortunate experience that the other reviewers had. Nicko completed three shoe repair projects for me in less than a week. I found each repair to be completed perfectly! My total was $30 - he did not charge me for one pair because it was an easy fix. more

DON'T GO THERE 12/28/2008

While I will admit, I finally received my shoes and the work done was high quality, it was not worth all of the other inconveniences. Please read and go to Nicko's at your own discretion. His store has about 50 hand written signs essentially saying that if you don't like the way Nicko does business, go somewhere else. Pros: Quality work and crafstmanship Cons: Horrible Customer Service, Hassle to go, Didn't feel comfortable that I would see my shoes again more

Don't go there 10/19/2005

I have never been treated so rudely or experienced any worse customer service in my life! His store is covered in handwritten signs of what he WON'T do. He lost my shoes and was very expensive. I asked for a quote up front, and he wouldn't give me one. I wouldn't trust him with expensive shoes and felt very uncomfortable leaving my shoes with him. Nicko is a wonderful person. His Italian heritage comes across so strongly as you speak to him and listen to him. His workmanship is beyond compare. I recommend him for all your shoe and boot repair needs. Take cash!! It makes him smile :) Pros: Quality Workmanship, Hours of Operation, Personality :) Cons: Oaklawn traffic, Pricey (but worth it) more
