Gym with great location and plenty of classes 5/13/2010

I have been with this gym for 4 years now. They continue to offer a variety of classes and plenty of personal trainers at this location. They open late till 11PM on weekdays so I love it. You could go pretty much whenever you want. It does get crowded during rush hours but the wait is never bad. They update and repair the equipment from time to time so it is not bad. They keep this gym pretty clean as well. Pros: Many group classes Cons: Equipment broken constantly more

Although somewhat small compared to other NYSC, this location has a great class instructors. Their total body conditioning classes are great - especially on Saturday mornings. Would recommend trying them out! more

Good location but consistently crowded with broken equipment 11/17/2008

Good location on Irving Place but consistently crowded with broken equipment. You pay dearly for those broken TVs on ellipticals after spending forever in line to get on them. The staff is never surprised about the broken equipment because they stay that way for months. But due to never-ending membership specials, you can be assured you'll never be lonely at any hour waiting in line for a machine, even at 9pm. Helpful tip, never go barefoot. The inattentive staff is too busy to clean. Pros: Location Cons: Broken equipment, long lines, inattentive staff, dirty floors more
