Wow! What a great selection of values! 9/5/2009

I was once again recently at the New 2 You Shoppe and had a great experience and thought I would check out the New 2 You Shoppe website and some reviews. My experience was extremely positive. The staff is great and always friendly. The store expanded about 2 years ago. Overall the items are well organized and displayed. Every time I am at New 2 You, I find several things I need. The inventory of items seems to change frequently. They have regular sales in various "departments" that are also posted on their website. I can strongly recommend this superior thrift store, the commitment of their volunteers and staff. more

In the next few months we will make a good thing even better. We will finally have the room we need to display our goods and still have the best prices around. Thanks for your support more

Not impressed... 8/25/2005

I visited this store once. It was cramped full with stuff and hard to move around. The quality of the items was, in my opinion, sub-par, even for a thrift store. It looked like they put *anything* out--even items with stains or rips. It wasn't a clean feeling environment, either...you kind of felt like you needed to wash your hands when you left. There are a lot of other, much nicer, thrift stores in the Grand Rapids area. I won't be back to this one. more

Not so thrifty thrift store 8/21/2005

I have been in this thrift store about a dozen times, and I can't see where the value is. Out of those dozen times, I have purchased something once. I don't have any idea how successful this store is but it seems to me that they could lower their prices and make more money but still be competitive with other local thrift stores. I believe in a good cause to make money for, but if the prices are too high and things aren't selling, who is that helping? more

Digging for Treasure 8/14/2005

This second hand store has good potential, but I haven't found many treasures yet - maybe I just haven't gone at the right times. There is always lots of furniture and odds and ends, but not many clothes. The kids' section is fair. Employee volunteers are friendly and all proceeds go to the local schools, which is great. more
