The first thing that got my attention was of course,the name. Everything in it is great: the prices, the choices, but the customer service might need a lot of work. more

Don’t you just love the name? I love unique names and that is what drew me to this place. They have a great variety of items and the price is better than other places I have been to. I’ll never shop anywhere else as long as they are around. Thanks! more

Well we have to write an honest review and I am going to be totally honest…place is all right but the people working inside are too cocky. No smile nothing. This is now. When it had started it was even worst. The owner was way over his head. He has no value for his customer. He infect told me straight on my face that he didn’t care if I came back to his shop or no. All this over a bag of cumin which had bugs inside which I wanted to exchange.( I didn’t see any reason why I should pay for that bag). He had a totally different opinion at that point. I had to go to that shop some time ago in emergency as there was no other shop nearby and people don’t smile in there, the so called fresh veggie’s looked all wilted out yah there was a line for chaat. At the counter I asked the lady something and she didn’t even reply. I had to ask her couple of time before she replied. boy oh boy did she desperately need a smile on her face and something to pep her up cause it really made me think if I would want to go in there again. i guess not. more

When I was new to US, I used to have craving for sweet and sour Indian snacks like "gol gappe". I did not know any place that sold this and was very upset. Then I was told about this grocery store that also sold golgappe and other snacks and I visited it the same day. I came back very happy. Apart from the reguler goceries, Dana baazar also sells Indian snacks, rotis and other readymade stuff. They also have a DVD rental counter where you can rent Indian movies. They also sell magazines, apparal, utensils and fashion jewelry. Check it out. more

This is a big Indian Grocery Store. I do not go there often these days since new grocery stores in Union City have most stuff that I need these days. But sometimes, it is necessary to go here to get to 'hard to get' indian groceries. These guys have a lot of stuff in stock, and you normally find anything and everything that you need to get those curries going. more

I had been to dana bazar many times as I used to stay there. Its pretty small grocery store but has many veggies and fruits. Its little costly compare to other stores around but has chat corner during weekends which is great. owner of the store is little rude. They run this family business. Overall its average store. more
