To say the least, I was very nervous in anticipation of any procedure. Always had a deep fear of dentists but Dr. Nelson was so patient with me explaining ALL my options. I found him to be very caring, understanding and knowledgable. Extraction of 2 teeth with bone graft went smoothly and went back for implants. Perfect, exact and precise. My smile is contagious. Staff is amazing; office beautiful and clean. Followed-up with a phone call and made sure I was OK. Who does that these days??? What else can I say? Highly recommend. This community is so fortunate to have such a compassionate and caring doctor. I am writing this because i want to thank Dr. Nelson and his wonderful staff for taking care of me when i was in such extreme pain. I waited until I couldn't take the pain much longer and called his office very late in the day. Dr saw me within the hour ! Walking into his beautiful and clean office you are struck with all the diplomas, placks and awards - a feeling you are in the right place. Dr Nelson greeted me and took his time to explain my options in detail. I was extremely anxious but dr nelson put me right at ease. The procedure went very smoothly and felt no pain even though i was extremely swollen and very sick. No one should wait as long as I did. There is nothing to fear if your in the professional hands of Dr Nelson. Thank you again. more

I was a recent patient of this dentist and chose him because I needed a tooth extraction immediately due to the pain. He was available and his business is also walk-in. In the initial procedure he charged a pretty high fee, more than $450, claiming it was discounted ""especially for me"".\r Well, since the extraction I have had severe pain in my gum that radiates to my ears and has gotten increasingly worse. Having waited after two cycles of antibiotics (one given to me by a regular doctor who I saw because I don't have dental insurance but I do have medical) I made an appointment for a couple of days later even though I had horrible pain because they said they couldn't get me in before that. \r So, there was a snow storm last night. I called his office to make sure he was open but no one answered. Eventually I just drove there (over 40 minutes because of bad roads). Arriving the building had a closed sign. He sticks his head out from the top floor of the building where his office is and asks ""what's up?"" I tell him of my severe pain in my ears. He tells me I should go see an ear doctor. I also have a tooth close to the extraction sight with a root canal. When I say the pain is also in my gum and neck he says it must be the other tooth and to get it taken care of and closes the window on me.\r 1- I had a scheduled appointment which he did not honor. He did not have the common courtesy to call me to tell me the appointment was canceled.\r 2- He has made no attempt to help me even though a follow up for oral surgery is a general practice even if the patient is not having complications.\r Needless to say I went home and cried. I can barely stand the pain and now I'm going to have to pay someone else who isn't familiar with my case, who knows how much, because the agony is so unbearable. \r Do Not Choose Him!
