always a LONG wait! 10/1/2007

I completely expect to have to wait when I take my daughter (or myself) to the doctor, but I purposely made an appointment really early in the day (8:30) so that I would be seen rather quickly and we did not leave until 10:20 (and the appointment only took 5 minutes!). This is very common. I've never had less than a 45 min. wait in the waiting room - even after the 45 min. I had another 30 min. wait in the patient's room. I have a 4 month old that I breastfeed and it's very inconvenient to keep us that long. more

Do not risk taking you child here. 1/5/2007

My 5 month old son had just gone in for his shots at Dr. Nadal's and had been running a fairly high fever for 2 days (102-103 degrees). I called and they said not to worry. I then called back the 3rd day as sysmptoms remained the same and she said to bring him in if it would make me feel better. I saw the Nurse Practitioner as the doctor is very hard to get into same day. She checked him out and said all was fine. By the end of the week and sysmptoms remaining the same, I took him back. During this time my niece had been diagnosed with RSV, a very serious infection that affects breathing. I explained this to the doctor and wanted to have him tested but they had run out of tests. She assured me that if he had it, she would have heard it in his lungs. She said he was fine and probably just had a cold. I was upset. I felt there was something wrong with my child so I went to get a 2nd opinion the next day. Surprise, Surprise! Not only did he have RSV but he also had a severe ear infection. He was put on breathing treatments and antibiotics immediately. I made a complaint to Nadals office manager, but I don't feel like they took me seriously. This is something, that if left untreated, could have put my son into the hospital or even worse. As if this wasn't bad enough, there nursing staff are rude and do not take concerns seriously. more

wonderful doctor and staff!!! highly recommended 11/20/2005

I love the doctors at nadal pediatrics. I have been taking my children there since they were babies and they love them. The nurse practioners are wonderful and caring and the doctors never rush us out. The staff goes above and beyond any other medical staff I have dealt with. I can usually get a same day appointment in the event of emergencies which is a definite plus. My kids love going to this doctor's office and it is such a relief! more

Dr Kanarak is wonderful 8/2/2005

We have been going to Nadal since our son was born and we love them. Dr Kanarak is his doctor and he talked very good care of him. He asks many questions and helps answer ours'. He has told us what is "normal" and made referrals when my son was determined to have a speech problem. He is very comfortable around children and is very gentle with our son who is often afraid of going to the doctor. Would definitely recommend him highly more
