Our van broke down on the freeway and the towing company took us to what he said ""was the fairest shop he know of."" We were in and out of their in an hour, they worked extra hard to get us back on the road, and the cost was minimal. What a blessing they were. Just saw their booth at the fair and they told us how to thank them with a fair review online, so that's what we did. God Bless you My Daddy's. more

I can't believe this shop has a low rating, they are the best. Their the 10th shop I tried for auto repair and i thank god I found them. I will never switch. the couple of negatives on this site obviously were idiots, but hey, not everyone has a brain. 21 years in business means their doing something right. more

Finally a shop that gets it. This place offered me a monthly pay program for $59.95 that covers everything. I was skeptical, but 2 months in my AC compressor went bad and sure enough they replaced it for no additional cost. I love it. best purchase I ever made, and to top things off, they are really nice and knowlegable. You wont go wrong here folks. more

Just picked my truck up from this place, it was the best automotive experience of my life. I have never been treated so nicely, and they were very fairly priced. I checked around, they wern't the cheapest, but not the most expensive, and for the customer service, I would pay more any day. good job, My Daddy's. more

This shop is fantastic! I have been going to them for years. Before them I jumped around from different shops, but now I will never change. They truly care about me and my car and keeping me on the road. They have a new program that allows me to make a monthly payment and have all my maintanance and repair covered at 100%, I have saved $100's already, you can't go wrong with these guys. more

Total ripoff! Overpriced parts and completely lied to me about the issues with my vehicle. I'm so glad I had a funny feeling and took it in for a second opinion somewhere else. Parts where half the price, sometimes even more then half. my ""Severe"" oil leak, wasn't even an oil leak. TOTAL CRAP COMPANY....DO NOT TRUST! more

What a Frickin Joke!! Do not, I repeat DO NOT trust these people!!!!! They go door to door selling cupons for 6 oil changes for 50 bucks. That should tell you right there that it's a scam. They get you coming in for your virtually free oil changes and then when you have to take your car in for some actual work is when they go to work on you. I took my car in because it was sputtering. They did a diagnostic check and told me I needed new spark plugs. My car was the first one in at 9am the next day. It was over 4 hours later they called me and said that the plugs were done (which they were gonna charge $250 for by the way), but then they told me that my catalic converter was shot. HUH? Why didnt they say that when they did the diagnostic check the day before. I went and picked up my car and the sputtering was gone but I had a whole new issue that wasn't there before I brought it in!! WTF!!! This is your fair warning, these people are crooks!!!! more

This company seemed to find a ""new"" problem every time I have taken my vehicle to them. A project that was supposed to cost about $250 is now running close to $1,000 because of this companies poor work and lack of attention to detail. The first time I came to them I had them do an install that was not an easy because there were some complications from prior work/damage on the car. They did this in less time than they had estimated so I was ultimately please. This is why I gave them 5 chances. This last experience was the worst. I wanted something fixed because I was told by a separate professional electrician that they installed the wiring incorrectly. When I approached the company to re-wire their work, I quote Jeff (owner of the company) as saying ""they don't know sh*t about what they are talking about."" This was in the lobby of their shop with other customers present. He is one of the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come across. You have a lot of options when getting your car fixed. I strongly suggest using a competitor. I am not sure the degree of intention on their part, but it seem to get worse the more I put my trust in their reports of what was wrong with my vehicle. However, the worst part of it all was simply the way I was treated. I wasn't looking for a lot and the owner was quick to get nasty with me when I was unpleased with their work. They may know how to do good work, but it does not seem like a priority. Good luck if you don't know a lot about cars; your taking a crap shoot with My Daddy's Automotive in Hazel Dell, WA. more

I have taken several cars here and been very happy with them. They are very knowledgeable and never try to upgrade repairs. I have been ripped off at other places but I trust this business. more

After moving to Vancouver I tried out a few car shops with mixed result until a friend referred me to My Daddy's. That place is by far the most trustworthy I've been to. the three times I have had work on my car done the final bill was cheaper than the price I got quoted on the phone because ""the part ended up being not as expensive"", ""labor went faster than expected"", or ""we ended up just charging for the part"". Seriously??? Can't argue with that, especially seeing that their prices are competitive to start with. Gotta love family owned businesseswho care about their customers. this place was ripping me off really bad. i took my car into the shop to get it looked at and they messed something up really bad and they told me it was not there problom. they almost totaled my rig and tried to shoo me away from there property. be vary vary careful. i do believe they will damage something on your vehical and not tell you. only so you will come back to get it fixed!! more

I took a recently purchased truck to their shop for a 2nd opinion and they spent a great deal of time tracking down the issues. They have been flexible and helpful when I had questions or concerns. Going above and beyond with their service seems to be a habit with Karen. She was a wonderfully straight forward person to deal with and has been extremely helpful throughout the process. I have taken two vehicles to My Daddy's Auto on three different occasions. I am throughly impressed with this shop! My first time seeing them was with a truck that wasn't running properly. I was apprehensive to take it to someone local although they came highly recommended by a friend. I was greeted promptly by the front desk help and also the owner's wife. It made me happy to know I am supporting a local business. They ran a diagnostic with the fee going toward the repair and was given a repair estimate.\r \r A day after leaving the truck, I was floored to be called earlier than promised. I was even more astounded that the bill would be less than the estimate, and the truck ran like a top. \r \r I returned again with a blown head gasket on my van. A diagnostic was run and applied to my repair. It was repaired as promised. I paid most of the bill and as previously discussed and arranged, they worked with me on the balance of the bill. I was permitted to pay in payments due to my husband lack of job. They were polite, efficient, and all that one could hope for in an honest and local repair shop. \r \r My husband and I had a different issue a year or so later with my minivan. Back to My Daddy's Auto and was quickly repaired. The bill was just a bit less than the estimate. They finished it as promised and was recommended a schedule for oil changes on a vehicle as old as ours. \r \r I would recommend this place to anyone needing car repair. On all three occasions I was treated fairly and with outstanding service. I also take my vehicles there for oil changes, which is easy with their drive-up service.
