Fun and Interesting Museum 7/25/2005

The Museum of Science and Industry is one of Chicago's finest offerings. People of all ages can enjoy a day at this museum. There are many interesting, informative, and interactive displays and exhibits. The restaurants and cafes in here are very expensive, so be prepared to pay a lot for refreshments. The same goes for the souvenirs in the gift shop. Overall, it is a great place to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon in Chicago. more

WONDERFUL MUSEUM 7/3/2005

We just love this museum, lots of things to see and do there. we spend the whole day checking out all the exhibts they have there. there gift shop is nice too..some of my favorites are going to see the fairy castle, also enjoy looking at that, and it looks so realistic. they also have a farm exhibit where children can watch baby chicks hatch right in front of them. and my son has always liked the ride down to the coal mine,he thought that was very cool. they use to offer free day on thursdays, but do not offer that day anymore. you can check there web site for the schedule of free days as it varies by the months. more

Museum of Science and Industry 6/30/2005

The Museum of Science and Industry is definately worth going to. When we go there, we plan to spend the whole day. It is interesting and stimulating for the children as well as the adults in our family. There are enough hands on exhibits for the children to remain captured by the experience. My only complaint about the Museum of Science and Industry is that they have so many extras that you have to pay extra for. The entrance fee is not cheap (although it is reasonable for what they offer) but by the time you pay for extra exhibits it can become a very very expensive day. The museum is located near the lake in a beautiful location and a treat to visit. more

Interesting Place 6/20/2005

This is a great Science Museum to take the family too. They have a lot of parking so that is not an issue. It is very easy to get too. The landscaping is pretty. Kids of all ages will enjoy this museum. Its better to go on the weekends otherwise they usually have field trips from school children. more
