Unique is the only word for it! 8/20/2005

This museum puts a unique spin on New Orleans and Louisiana history as a whole. Interesting figures, stories of ghosts and voodoo, stories scary enough to make you wonder--is it really true. Good activity for a hot day or an interesting field trip on Louisiana History--I wouldn't recommend it for children under 8 as many would be bored or intimidated by some of the figures. more

A waxy way to spend a rainy day! 8/18/2005

Located in the middle of the French Quarter, The Musee Conti Wax Museum is a nice little stop on a rainy day. The place has a real nice 1970's feel to it. There are a lot of different Wax figures to see. The displays are very detailed and paint the history of New Orleans. It is a good way to spend an hour for $7. The tours are self guided so you can go at your own pace. I went through at a pretty rapid pace because I don’t have quite the appreciate of wax structures. more
