Very bad experience. Bought a washer and dryer. Washer was so loud we couldn't stand it. We were told to upgrade to top of the line model (at our expense) to get quitter machine. The washer was 1 year and 44 days old . Repairman came out ($90) and announced the whole tub needed to be replace. ($500). Talked to sales manager to get a break on parts since the machine had only been used 6 months . He told me my complaint was with the manufacturer and I should call them directly. They did not have time work on MY problem. My advice go buy from any of the box stores or internet. You'll get a much better price and you can buy a reasonable service contact. Mullet's only want to sell outlandish service contracts. Even with the contract I'm sure they'll find a way to charge you extra. If you got money to throw away , they're a great way to do it. I fixed the machine for $90 dollars and found the original assembly error and corrected it. more

they certainly do not put the customer first. once you get your appliance home they do not want to hear about any problems you are having with it. rather rude actually....you would get more customer service buying an appliance online than from this merchant. more

When I moved to Sarasota, I had bought a house that had for lack of a better word, junk appliances. After a few service calls it was evident it was time for replacement. The staff at Mullets worked hard to make sure that the appliances that I didn't replace with them were working. The new range and refrigerator that I purchased have never had an issue. The one issue that I had with my washer was addressed quickly and I haven't had any issues since. I would highly recommend Mullets to anyone who wants great appliances and service. more

Bad aftersales 6/9/2011

We had similar problems to the previous reviewer i.e. not turning up when they say they will. I got the impression they are only interested in the sale. Their aftersales dept is by the far the worst. Stay clear more

Do not buy from mullets 6/9/2011

We spent nearly $9000 on appliances with Mullets. I recommend anyone considering buying from them asks some technical or difficult questions first to see how little they do know.. They really are not as knowledgeble about appliances as they appear. It was only when we had problems we discovered we were on our own. if youre buying small cheaper items it might be worth the risk but use another company for larger kitchen items where aftersales or support might be needed. more

Mullets Service is the worst! 1/5/2011

Scheduled a service call one week in advance for dishwasher and refrigerator. Both of which were purchased at Mullets along with over $25,000 in other appliances. Told the service department what the error codes were on both appliances and provided credit card information. Stayed home from work on the day of the appointment.\r Mullets did not show up and when I called the service department they had no record of my appointment. This company is incompetent, I will find someone else to service the appliances that I purchased at Mullets. Never again! more

In mid-2008 we purchased about $6000 in kitchen appliances from Mullet?s. We did so based on a recommendation from friends who also recently purchased multiple kitchen appliances for a home they were renovating. We liked the idea of buying from a family business as opposed to a chain store and found the sales staff very helpful and the pricing competitive. \r In the later part of November 2009 we began to experience problems with the Kitchen Aid microwave and contacted Mullet?s for a service call. They asked that we pay a $75 service call charge since at the time they weren?t sure if the repair was covered under warranty. I contacted Kitchen Aid and was told the repair would be covered under warranty and was given a repair authorization number which I in turn gave to Mullet?s. The microwave was repaired under warranty and I was assured my $75 service call fee would be refunded. \r Despite repeated calls and a certified letter being sent to one of the owners in June 1, 2010 my req more

Unfortunately we do not make the appliances and it is the manufactorers (not us) that have the 30 day cosmetic blemish policy...when you first started seeing any kind of discoloration you should have called us and we could have went to battle with JennAir for you...Again sorry for your out of the ordinary experience with us more

Don't buy appliances from this company 5/1/2009

I purchased a whole kitchen full of top of the line appliances from Mullet's. The Jenn-Air wall oven and cook top started to rust immediately after the installation. None of the other stainless steel appliances rusted during the same time period. After 6 months the rust pits were so large they would no longer wipe away with any type of cleaner. I contacted Mullet's and they said tough luck their warranty was good for only 30 days! There are too many other appliance vendors that would stand behind the products they sell to give Mullet's your business. more
